All the inhabitants of the earth are of no account, But He does according to His will among the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of earth; And no one can fend off His hand Or say to Him,‘ What have You done?’

斯世之億兆、藐乎其小、有如無物、天下軍旅、地下人民、上帝隨意而作、其取之、孰能禦之、其為之、孰能詰之、

世間萬民、視若虛無、天上萬軍、世上萬民、隨意而待、無能禦之、無能詰之曰、爾何為、

All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?”

He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him,“ What have you done?”

all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him,‘ What do you mean by doing these things?’

All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and he does what he wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can block his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him,‘ What have you done?’

But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.

Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, And are regarded as a speck of dust on the scales; Behold, He lifts up the islands like fine dust.Even Lebanon is not enough to burn, Nor its animals enough for a burnt offering.All the nations are as nothing before Him, They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless.

“ I know that You can do all things, And that no plan is impossible for You.

Whatever the Lord pleases, He does, In heaven and on earth, in the seas and in all the ocean depths.

Even from eternity I am He, And there is no one who can rescue from My hand; I act, and who can reverse it?”

In Him we also have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things in accordance with the plan of His will,

to do whatever Your hand and purpose predestined to occur.

Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?Or who has first given to Him, that it would be paid back to him?For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

You will say to me then,“ Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?”On the contrary, who are you, you foolish person, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder,“ Why did you make me like this,” will it?

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to infants.Yes, Father, for this way was well pleasing in Your sight.

but if the source is God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”

For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

“ Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— A piece of pottery among the other earthenware pottery pieces! Will the clay say to the potter,‘ What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say,‘ He has no hands’?Woe to him who says to a father,‘ What are you fathering?’ Or to a woman,‘ To what are you giving birth?’ ”This is what the Lord says, the Holy One of Israel and his Maker:“ Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, And you shall commit to Me the work of My hands.

If He were to determine to do so, If He were to gather His spirit and His breath to Himself,Humanity would perish together, And mankind would return to dust.

At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently; For when the earth experiences Your judgments, The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood firm.The Lord nullifies the plan of nations; He frustrates the plans of peoples.The plan of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.

If He were to snatch away, who could restrain Him? Who could say to Him,‘ What are You doing?’“ God will not turn back His anger; Beneath Him the helpers of Rahab cower.

The Lord of armies has sworn, saying,“ Certainly, just as I have intended, so it has happened, and just as I have planned, so it will stand,to break Assyria in My land, and I will trample him on My mountains. Then his yoke will be removed from them, and his burden removed from their shoulders.This is the plan devised against the entire earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out against all the nations.For the Lord of armies has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched out hand, who can turn it back?”

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying,‘ My plan will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a distant country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, I will certainly do it.

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?

So Samuel told him everything and hid nothing from him. And he said,“ He is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him.”

But He is unique, and who can make Him turn? Whatever His soul desires, He does it.

“ Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who rebukes God give an answer.”

Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?

There is no wisdom, no understanding, And no plan against the Lord.

When He keeps quiet, who can condemn? And when He hides His face, who then can look at Him, That is, regarding both nation and a person?—

Therefore, if God gave them the same gift as He also gave to us after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”

It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to live in.It is He who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.Scarcely have they been planted, Scarcely have they been sown, Scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth, But He merely blows on them, and they wither, And the storm carries them away like stubble.

Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?“ Adorn yourself with pride and dignity, And clothe yourself with honor and majesty.Let out your outbursts of anger, And look at everyone who is arrogant, and humble him.Look at everyone who is arrogant, and humble him, And trample down the wicked where they stand.

From His dwelling place He looks out On all the inhabitants of the earth,

Who shows no partiality to the prominent, Nor regards the rich as above the poor, Since they are all the work of His hands?In a moment they die, and at midnight People are shaken and pass away, And the powerful are taken away without a hand.“ For His eyes are upon the ways of a person, And He sees all his steps.There is no darkness or deep shadow Where the workers of injustice can hide themselves.For He does not need to consider a person further, That he should go before God in judgment.He breaks in pieces the mighty without investigation, And sets others in their place.

Hear this, all peoples; Listen, all inhabitants of the world,

Behold, let me respond to you, you are not right in this, For God is greater than mankind.“ Why do you complain to Him That He does not give an account of all His doings?

And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” And He said,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
