世間萬民、視若虛無、天上萬軍、世上萬民、隨意而待、無能禦之、無能詰之曰、爾何為、

All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?”

He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him,“ What have you done?”

All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him,‘ What do you mean by doing these things?’

All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and he does what he wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can block his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.

Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are accounted as the dust on the scales; behold, he takes up the coastlands like fine dust.Lebanon would not suffice for fuel, nor are its beasts enough for a burnt offering.All the nations are as nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.

“ I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.

Whatever the Lord pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.

Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?”

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place.

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!“ For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?”“ Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

You will say to me then,“ Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?”But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder,“ Why have you made me like this?”

At that time Jesus declared,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children;yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.

but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice,

“ For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

“ Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it,‘ What are you making?’ or‘ Your work has no handles’?Woe to him who says to a father,‘ What are you begetting?’ or to a woman,‘ With what are you in labor?’”Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him:“ Ask me of things to come; will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands?

If he should set his heart to it and gather to himself his spirit and his breath,all flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust.

My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples.The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.

Behold, he snatches away; who can turn him back? Who will say to him,‘ What are you doing?’“ God will not turn back his anger; beneath him bowed the helpers of Rahab.

The Lord of hosts has sworn:“ As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and on my mountains trample him under foot; and his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden from their shoulder.”This is the purpose that is purposed concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?

declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying,‘ My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.

Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

So Samuel told him everything and hid nothing from him. And he said,“ It is the Lord. Let him do what seems good to him.”

But he is unchangeable, and who can turn him back? What he desires, that he does.

“ Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength— who has hardened himself against him, and succeeded?—

No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the Lord.

When he is quiet, who can condemn? When he hides his face, who can behold him, whether it be a nation or a man?—

If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”

It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;who brings princes to nothing, and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness.Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth, when he blows on them, and they wither, and the tempest carries them off like stubble.

Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?“ Adorn yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.Pour out the overflowings of your anger, and look on everyone who is proud and abase him.Look on everyone who is proud and bring him low and tread down the wicked where they stand.

from where he sits enthroned he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,

who shows no partiality to princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?In a moment they die; at midnight the people are shaken and pass away, and the mighty are taken away by no human hand.“ For his eyes are on the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps.There is no gloom or deep darkness where evildoers may hide themselves.For God has no need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.He shatters the mighty without investigation and sets others in their place.

Hear this, all peoples! Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,

“ Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you, for God is greater than man.Why do you contend against him, saying,‘ He will answer none of man’s words’?

And he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” And he said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
