世間萬民、視若虛無、天上萬軍、世上萬民、隨意而待、無能禦之、無能詰之曰、爾何為、

All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?”

He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him,“ What have you done?”

all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him,‘ What do you mean by doing these things?’

然而，我們的神在天上，都隨自己的意旨行事。

看哪，萬民都像水桶的一滴，又算如天平上的微塵；他舉起眾海島，好像極微之物。黎巴嫩的樹林不夠當柴燒；其中的走獸也不夠作燔祭。萬民在他面前好像虛無，被他看為不及虛無，乃為虛空。

我知道，你萬事都能做；你的旨意不能攔阻。

耶和華在天上，在地下，在海中，在一切的深處，都隨自己的意旨而行。

自從有日子以來，我就是神；誰也不能救人脫離我手。我要行事誰能阻止呢？

我們也在他裏面得了基業；這原是那位隨己意行、做萬事的，照着他旨意所預定的，

成就你手和你意旨所預定必有的事。

深哉，神豐富的智慧和知識！他的判斷何其難測！他的蹤跡何其難尋！誰知道主的心？誰作過他的謀士呢？誰是先給了他，使他後來償還呢？因為萬有都是本於他，倚靠他，歸於他。願榮耀歸給他，直到永遠。阿們！

這樣，你必對我說：「他為甚麼還指責人呢？有誰抗拒他的旨意呢？」你這個人哪，你是誰，竟敢向神強嘴呢？受造之物豈能對造他的說：「你為甚麼這樣造我呢？」

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你將這些事向聰明通達人就藏起來，向嬰孩就顯出來。父啊，是的，因為你的美意本是如此。

若是出於神，你們就不能敗壞他們，恐怕你們倒是攻擊神了。」

誰曾知道主的心去教導他呢？但我們是有基督的心了。

禍哉，那與造他的主爭論的！他不過是地上瓦片中的一塊瓦片。泥土豈可對摶弄它的說：你做甚麼呢？所做的物豈可說：你沒有手呢？禍哉，那對父親說：你生的是甚麼呢？或對母親說：你產的是甚麼呢？耶和華－以色列的聖者，就是造就以色列的如此說：將來的事，你們可以問我；至於我的眾子，並我手的工作，你們可以求我命定。

他若專心為己，將靈和氣收歸自己，凡有血氣的就必一同死亡；世人必仍歸塵土。

夜間，我心中羨慕你；我裏面的靈切切尋求你。因為你在世上行審判的時候，地上的居民就學習公義。

願全地都敬畏耶和華！願世上的居民都懼怕他！因為他說有，就有，命立，就立。耶和華使列國的籌算歸於無有，使眾民的思念無有功效。耶和華的籌算永遠立定；他心中的思念萬代常存。

他奪取，誰能阻擋？誰敢問他：你做甚麼？神必不收回他的怒氣；扶助拉哈伯的，屈身在他以下。

萬軍之耶和華起誓說：我怎樣思想，必照樣成就；我怎樣定意，必照樣成立，就是在我地上打折亞述人，在我山上將他踐踏。他加的軛必離開以色列人；他加的重擔必離開他們的肩頭。這是向全地所定的旨意；這是向萬國所伸出的手。萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能廢棄呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能轉回呢？

我從起初指明末後的事，從古時言明未成的事，說：我的籌算必立定；凡我所喜悅的，我必成就。我召鷙鳥從東方來，召那成就我籌算的人從遠方來。我已說出，也必成就；我已謀定，也必做成。

我們可惹主的憤恨嗎？我們比他還有能力嗎？

撒母耳就把一切話都告訴了以利，並沒有隱瞞。以利說：「這是出於耶和華，願他憑自己的意旨而行。」

只是他心志已定，誰能使他轉意呢？他心裏所願的，就行出來。

強辯的豈可與全能者爭論嗎？與神辯駁的可以回答這些吧！

他心裏有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得亨通呢？

沒有人能以智慧、聰明、謀略敵擋耶和華。

他使人安靜，誰能擾亂呢？他掩面，誰能見他呢？無論待一國或一人都是如此－

神既然給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣；我是誰，能攔阻神呢？」

神坐在地球大圈之上；地上的居民好像蝗蟲。他鋪張穹蒼如幔子，展開諸天如可住的帳棚。他使君王歸於虛無，使地上的審判官成為虛空。他們是剛才栽上，剛才種上，根也剛才扎在地裏，他一吹在其上，便都枯乾；旋風將他們吹去，像碎稭一樣。

你有神那樣的膀臂嗎？你能像他發雷聲嗎？你要以榮耀莊嚴為妝飾，以尊榮威嚴為衣服；要發出你滿溢的怒氣，見一切驕傲的人，使他降卑；見一切驕傲的人，將他制伏，把惡人踐踏在本處；

從他的居所往外察看地上一切的居民－

他待王子不徇情面，也不看重富足的過於貧窮的，因為都是他手所造。在轉眼之間，半夜之中，他們就死亡。百姓被震動而去世；有權力的被奪去非借人手。神注目觀看人的道路，看明人的腳步。沒有黑暗、陰翳能給作孽的藏身。神審判人，不必使人到他面前再三鑒察。他用難測之法打破有能力的人，設立別人代替他們。

萬民哪，你們都當聽這話！世上一切的居民，

我要回答你說：你這話無理，因神比世人更大。你為何與他爭論呢？因他的事都不對人解說？

他說：「主啊！你是誰？」主說：「我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。

叫一切在天上的、地上的，和地底下的，因耶穌的名無不屈膝，無不口稱「耶穌基督為主」，使榮耀歸與父神。
