王啊，這直長起來，而長得很堅強的就是你。你的強大直增強着，強到頂天，你的權柄管到地極。

王啊，這樹就是你！你繼續強大，變得堅壯，你的權勢繼續強大，高達於天，你的權柄直到地極。

王歟、生長堅剛者爾也、爾之高大、凌乎霄漢、爾之權勢、及於地極、

斯樹即王、爾既長大、堅剛無比、高大及乎九宵、權能延乎四極、

王歟、至上之天主、以國威尊榮、賜爾父尼布甲尼撒、因天主賜之威權、各民、各國、各族、戰慄恐懼於其前、彼隨意生殺、隨意升降、既心驕氣傲、剛愎自用、乃黜王位、去其尊榮、被人驅逐、不與人偕居、食草如牛、為天降之露所濕、待知至上之天主、主掌人間之國、隨意立人為國主、伯沙撒歟、爾乃其子、子或作孫雖知此事、猶不自卑、竟向天上之主自高、使人將其殿之器皿、取至爾前、爾與爾大臣及妃嬪、以之飲酒、讚美金銀銅鐵木石所造諸神、彼不見不聞不知、惟掌爾生氣生氣或作呼吸及爾命運爾命運原文作爾諸道塗之天主、爾反不頌揚之、

主歟、主之仁慈、直至穹蒼、主之真誠、及於雲霄、

夢有梯置於地、梯首及天、天主之使者陟降於上、

又曰、我儕當建城與臺、臺頂高及天、藉以揚我名、以免散於天下、
