王啊，这树就是你！你继续强大，变得坚壮，你的权势继续强大，高达于天，你的权柄直到地极。

王啊，這直長起來，而長得很堅強的就是你。你的強大直增強着，強到頂天，你的權柄管到地極。

王啊，這樹就是你！你繼續強大，變得堅壯，你的權勢繼續強大，高達於天，你的權柄直到地極。

王歟、生長堅剛者爾也、爾之高大、凌乎霄漢、爾之權勢、及於地極、

現在，我要把你們的國家交給我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，連田野的走獸也要歸他管轄。各國都要臣服於他和他的子孫，直到他的國家滅亡。那時，許多國家和強大的君王必奴役他。如果哪一邦或哪一國不肯臣服於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，不肯負巴比倫王的軛，我必用戰爭、饑荒和瘟疫懲罰他們，直到我藉巴比倫王的手毀滅他們。這是耶和華說的。

因為她已經罪惡滔天，上帝沒有忘記她一切的不義。

因為你的慈愛廣及諸天，你的信實高達穹蒼。

因為約翰曾多次對他說：「你娶這個婦人是不對的。」

撒瑪利亞有一位耶和華的先知名叫俄德，他出城去迎接班師回來的軍隊，說：「看啊，你們祖先的上帝耶和華向猶大發怒，才將他們交在你們手中。你們竟怒氣衝天，對他們大加殺戮。

王啊，至高的上帝曾將國位、權力、尊榮、威嚴賜給你的先王尼布甲尼撒，因為他有上帝所賜的大權，各族、各邦、各語種的人都在他面前戰抖，充滿恐懼。他操生殺大權，可隨意擢升、罷黜。但他變得心高氣傲、剛愎自用、狂妄自大，因而被革除王位、剝去尊榮。他從人群中被趕走，他的心變成獸心，他與野驢同住，像牛一樣吃草，被天上的露水浸濕，直到他知道至高的上帝主宰世上萬國，祂要把國賜給誰就賜給誰。「伯沙撒啊，你是他的後裔，你雖然知道這一切事，仍不謙卑，竟在天上的主面前自大，命人拿來祂殿裡的器皿，供你和大臣、王后、妃嬪用來飲酒，並頌讚不能看、不能聽、一無所知、用金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石所造的神明，卻不尊崇賜你生命氣息、掌管你一舉一動的上帝。

耶和華啊，你的慈愛廣及諸天，你的信實高達穹蒼。

夢中看見有個梯子立在地上，直通到天上，梯子上有上帝的天使上上下下。

說：「來吧，讓我們造一座城和一座高聳入雲的塔，這樣我們可以揚名天下，不致分散在地上。」
