The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth,

我躺在床上時腦海中所見的異象是這樣：我看見大地中間，有一棵樹，十分高大。那樹漸長，而且堅強，高達於天，地極所有的人都看得到。它的葉子美麗，果實繁多，所有的生物都從它得到食物；野地的走獸在它下面歇息，空中的飛鳥棲宿在它的枝頭上；各種生物都從它得著供養。

看哪！亞述曾是黎巴嫩的香柏樹，枝條秀美，林影茂密，樹身高大，樹頂在茂密的枝葉之上。

我把它扔下陰間，與那些下到陰府的人一起的時候，我就使列國因它墜落的響聲而震驚。伊甸所有的樹木，就是黎巴嫩有水滋潤、最佳最美的樹，都在地的深處得到安慰。
