“‘ The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’

“‘ The decision is announced by holy messengers. So all who are alive will know that the Most High God is King. He rules over all kingdoms on earth. He gives them to anyone he wants. Sometimes he puts the least important people in charge of them.’

The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.’

For this has been decreed by the messengers; it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses— even to the lowliest of people.”

人將驅逐我主我王、不復與人偕處、乃與獸同居、俾爾嚙蒭、無異於牛、為露所侵、待及七年、使知至上者、操寰區之柄、以國畀人、悉隨其意、

我耶和華、以巨能大力、肇造寰宇、以及庶民百獸、以地錫人、惟我所欲。我今以列邦予我僕、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、亦使野獸供役、列國之人必服事之、爰及子孫、屆滅國之期而後已、厥後邦國眾多、列王顯赫、必使巴比倫王供其服役。

主限時日、升降君王、使賢者有智、哲者明慧、

使人顯達者、非由東、非由西、亦非由南、其權操自上帝、升降黜陟、咸其所主兮、

又繼位者、所行卑賤、不宜踐位、乃因時值承平、以諂諛而得國、

然我使爾崛興、以顯我能、我名播揚於天下。

且選世之不貴者、見棄者、人視為無有者、以廢世之有者、

耶和華彰彰大公、有如此兮、作惡之人、祇自取其戾兮、

貧乏者流、處於塵埃、居於糞攘、主舉而升之兮、使與民牧、爰居爰處兮、

自昔以來、未有若亞哈、在耶和華前、惟惡是務、為其后耶洗別所慫慂、

靈物各有六翼、遍體有目、晝夜不息、言曰、聖哉、聖哉、聖哉、自昔迄今永在、全能之主上帝、

維彼惡人、以遨以遊、若狂風之驟起兮。

大降患難、重罰其罪、使知我耶和華實降是災。

患難之際、亞哈士王愈犯耶和華、

米該亞曰、請聽耶和華之命、我觀耶和華坐於其位、萬天使侍左右。耶和華曰、誰能誘亞哈、使往基列之喇末、殞沒其命。眾天使所陳之詞不一。

此唱彼和曰、聖哉聖哉聖哉、萬有之主耶和華、榮光赫奕、彌綸寰宇、

當驅逐爾、不與人偕居、而與獸錯處、嚙蒭若牛、以待七年之屆、俾知至上者、操權於寰區、隨意昇降、我即於斯時、遭此災患、倏被驅逐、不與人居、嚙蒭若牛、身為露所霑濡、首髮長若鷹翮、指甲利若鳥爪、其日既屆、我尼布甲尼撒仰觀乎天、心復靈慧、頌美至上永生之主、其國靡暨、永世弗替、斯世之億兆、藐乎其小、有如無物、天下軍旅、地下人民、上帝隨意而作、其取之、孰能禦之、其為之、孰能詰之、

於上帝及主、耶穌基督暨被選之天使前、我諭爾務守此誡、處事勿固執偏視、

焚獻其子、用卜筮、術數、憑卜神、問巫覡、於耶和華前多行不義、干厥震怒。昔耶和華諭大闢、及其子所羅門曰、我於以色列支派諸邑中、簡耶路撒冷、創造殿宇、為籲我名之所、歷世勿替、如以色列族恪守我命、循我僕摩西所傳者、我不使之復行遷徙、離我所錫列祖之地、然上帝雖有是命、民不聽從、馬拿西作亞大綠像、置諸殿間、誘民作惡、較耶和華在以色列族中、所滅之異邦人尤甚。

我卧於榻、夢聖使者、巡察者、自天而降、大聲呼曰、斬其柯、斫其枝、摧其葉、摘其果、使其下獸不得伏、其上鳥不能棲、

我將使異邦之惡者至、據其宅第、玷其聖所、滅其所挾以誇人者。

吾聞耶和華之聲、曰、當遣者誰、孰為我儕往、我曰、余在此、遣我可乎、

既而但以理至、彼循我上帝之名、稱曰伯底沙撒、為至聖上帝之神所感、余即以夢告之曰、博士長伯底沙撒、我知爾感於至聖上帝之神、凡秘奧之事、爾能明晰、無事三思、我所得之夢、其兆維何、願明以告我、

如其不然、則喪厥志、令其敗亡、悚然駭懼、靡有底止兮、惟如是凡厥庶民、咸知爾耶和華至高無二、治理寰宇兮。
