Let his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal, till seven times pass by for him.

王既看見一位神聖的守望者從天而降，說：『將這樹砍倒毀壞，樹的殘幹卻要留在地裏，在田野的青草中用鐵圈和銅圈套住。任他讓天上的露水滴濕，與野地的走獸一同吃草，直到經過七個時期。』

你必被趕出離開世人，與野地的走獸同住，吃草如牛，讓天上的露水滴濕，且要經過七個時期，直等到你知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜給誰就賜給誰。

因為人屢次用腳鐐和鐵鏈捆鎖他，鐵鏈被他掙斷，腳鐐也被他弄碎了，總沒有人能制伏他。他晝夜常在墳墓裏和山中喊叫，又用石頭打自己。

我聽見那在河水之上、穿細麻衣的，向天舉起左右手，指着那活到永遠的起誓說：「要到一年、兩年，又半年，粉碎聖民力量結束的時候，這一切的事就要應驗。」

他說話抵擋至高者，折磨至高者的眾聖者，又改變節期和律法。眾聖者要交在他手中一年、兩年、又半年。

「北方王要再度擺列大軍，比先前更多。過了幾年，他必率領大軍，帶極多的裝備而來。

要使這百姓心蒙油脂，耳朵發沉，眼睛昏花；恐怕他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，就得醫治。」

耶穌上了岸，就有城裏一個被鬼附的人迎着他走來。這個人好久不穿衣服，不住在屋子裏，而住在墳墓裏。他看見耶穌，就喊叫着俯伏在他面前，大聲說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，你為甚麼干擾我？我求你，不要叫我受苦！」這是因耶穌曾吩咐污靈從這人身上出來。原來這污靈屢次抓住他；他常被人看守，又被鐵鏈和腳鐐捆鎖，他竟把鎖鏈掙斷，被鬼趕到曠野去。

於是有大鷹的兩個翅膀賜給婦人，讓她能飛到曠野，到自己的地方，躲避那蛇。她在那裏受供養一載二載半載。

這話還在王口中的時候，有聲音從天降下，說：「尼布甲尼撒王啊，有話對你說，你的國離開你了。你必被趕出離開世人，與野地的走獸同住，吃草如牛，且要經過七個時期；等你知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜給誰就賜給誰。」當時這話就應驗在尼布甲尼撒身上，他被趕出離開世人，吃草如牛，身體被天上的露水滴濕，頭髮長得像鷹的羽毛，指甲長得像鳥爪。

天地都會消滅，你卻長存；天地都會像衣服漸漸舊了；
