For seven periods of time, let him have the mind of a wild animal instead of the mind of a human.

Let his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal, till seven times pass by for him.

Let him no longer have the mind of a man. Instead, let him be given the mind of an animal. Let him stay that way until seven periods of time pass by.

“‘ Then you saw a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying,“ Cut down the tree and destroy it. Let him live with the animals of the field for seven periods of time.”

You will be driven from human society, and you will live in the fields with the wild animals. You will eat grass like a cow, and you will be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.

Whenever he was put into chains and shackles— as he often was— he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to subdue him.Day and night he wandered among the burial caves and in the hills, howling and cutting himself with sharp stones.

The man dressed in linen, who was standing above the river, raised both his hands toward heaven and took a solemn oath by the One who lives forever, saying,“ It will go on for a time, times, and half a time. When the shattering of the holy people has finally come to an end, all these things will have happened.”

He will defy the Most High and oppress the holy people of the Most High. He will try to change their sacred festivals and laws, and they will be placed under his control for a time, times, and half a time.

“ A few years later the king of the north will return with a fully equipped army far greater than before.

Harden the hearts of these people. Plug their ears and shut their eyes. That way, they will not see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor understand with their hearts and turn to me for healing.”

As Jesus was climbing out of the boat, a man who was possessed by demons came out to meet him. For a long time he had been homeless and naked, living in the tombs outside the town.As soon as he saw Jesus, he shrieked and fell down in front of him. Then he screamed,“ Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Please, I beg you, don’t torture me!”For Jesus had already commanded the evil spirit to come out of him. This spirit had often taken control of the man. Even when he was placed under guard and put in chains and shackles, he simply broke them and rushed out into the wilderness, completely under the demon’s power.

But she was given two wings like those of a great eagle so she could fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness. There she would be cared for and protected from the dragon for a time, times, and half a time.

“ While these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven,‘ O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are no longer ruler of this kingdom.You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.’“ That same hour the judgment was fulfilled, and Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as eagles’ feathers and his nails were like birds’ claws.

They will perish, but you remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing.
