He called in a loud voice:‘ Cut down the tree and trim off its branches; strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the animals flee from under it and the birds from its branches.

现在斧头已经放在树根上，所有不结好果子的树，就砍下来，丢在火里。

必有外族人，就是列国中最强暴的，把它砍下丢弃。它的枝叶落在山上和所有的谷中；它的枝子折断，落在地上所有的水沟里；地上的万族都必走离它的荫下，把它丢弃。空中的飞鸟都住在倒下的树身上，田野的走兽都卧在它的枝条间。

王既然看见一位守望者，就是圣者，从天上下来，说：‘你们要砍下毁坏这树，树根的余干却要留在地上，用铁和铜的链子围住，留在野地的青草中，使他被天露滴湿；使他的分和野地的走兽一样，直到他经过那七年的时期。’

现在斧头已经放在树根上，所有不结好果子的树，就砍下来，丢在火里。”

那时，传令官大声呼叫说：“各国、各族、说各种语言的人哪！这是传给你们的命令：

凡是不结好果子的树，就被砍下来，丢在火中。

它的叶子美丽，果实繁多，所有的生物都从它得到食物；野地的走兽在它下面歇息，空中的飞鸟栖宿在它的枝头上；各种生物都从它得着供养。

他对管园的说：‘你看，这三年，我来到这棵无花果树那里找果子，却找不到，把它砍了吧！何必白占地土呢？’管园的说：‘主人，今年且留着它，等我把周围的泥土挖松，加上肥料；以后结果子就罢，不然，再把它砍了。’”

大声呼喊，好像狮子吼叫。他呼喊的时候，就有七雷发声说话。

我们本想医治巴比伦，但它没有治好。我们离开它，各归本地去吧！因为它的刑罚极大，上达于天，直到云霄。

你仍要从巴比伦境内逃出来，各自逃命！不要因它的罪孽灭亡；因为这是耶和华报复的时候，他必向巴比伦施行应得的报应。

他用强有力的声音呼喊说：“倾倒了！大巴比伦倾倒了！成了鬼魔的住处，各样污灵的监狱，一切污秽可憎之雀鸟的牢笼，

但他心高气傲、妄自尊大的时候，就从国位上被赶下来，他的尊荣也被夺去。
