隨後，大流士王寫詔書給住在全地的所有民族、國家、語言群體，說：「願你們大有平安！

那時，傳令官大聲宣告：「各民族、各國家、各語言群體，以下是給你們的命令：

就是按照父神的預知，藉著聖靈分別為聖，以致順從耶穌基督，又蒙他寶血所灑的人：願恩典與平安多多地加給你們！

願恩典與平安從神我們的父和主耶穌基督臨到你們！

因此我發出命令：所有的民族、國家、語言群體中，誰說話冒犯了沙德拉克、米沙克、亞伯尼哥的神，誰就必被千刀萬剮，他的家必變為一堆廢墟，因為沒有別的神能這樣解救人。」

他拯救人、解救人，在天上地上施行神蹟奇事，他拯救了但以理脫離獅子的爪。」

那時是三月（西彎月）二十三日，王的書記們被召來，照著末迪凱所吩咐的一切，給猶太人下旨，也給從印度到庫實一百二十七個省的行政官、省長和各省的首領下旨，用各省的文字給各個省，用各民族的語言給各個民族，用猶太人的文字和語言給猶太人。

致所有在羅馬、蒙神所愛、蒙召成為聖徒的人：願恩典與平安從神我們的父和主耶穌基督臨到你們！

他被賜予了權柄、尊榮和國度，所有的民族、國家、語言群體都事奉他；他的權柄是永遠的權柄，不會廢去，他的國度不會毀滅。
