So the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates and all the other provincial officials assembled for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, and they stood before it.

So the royal rulers, high officials and governors came together. So did the advisers, treasurers, judges and court officers. All the other officials joined them. They came to honor the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. They stood in front of it.

Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So all these officials came and stood before the statue King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the rulers of the provinces assembled for the dedication of the statue the king had set up. Then they stood before the statue Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered together for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So the satraps, prefects, governors, counselors, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the other provincial authorities assembled for the dedication of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had erected. They were standing in front of the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had erected.

Then the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

因為神把意念放在他們心中，要他們實現他的目的，要他們行事目的一致，並把十隻角的王權交給那獸，直到神的話語成就。

可是大家一認出他是猶太人，就同聲呼喊：「以弗所人偉大的阿蒂米絲！」大約喊了兩個小時。後來，城裡的書記官安撫了民眾，說：「各位以弗所人哪，到底有什麼人不知道以弗所城是偉大阿蒂米絲廟和那從天落下的神像的看守者呢？

沒有領悟的，沒有尋求神的。

所以人是已經知道神的，但是卻不把他當做神來榮耀他，也不感謝他；相反，他們在思想上變得虛妄，他們無知的心就昏暗了。他們自稱是有智慧的，卻成了愚拙，甚至用偶像，就是會朽壞的人、飛禽、走獸、爬行動物的形像，來取代那不朽之神的榮耀。因此，神任憑他們順著心中的情慾去做汙穢的事，以致彼此玷汙自己的身體。他們用虛假取代神的真理，去崇拜、事奉被造之物，而不事奉造物之主——主是當受頌讚的，直到永遠！阿們。為此，神任憑他們陷入可恥的情慾，連他們的女人也把天性的功用變為違反天性的；同樣，男人也放棄了女人天性的功用，彼此之間慾火中燒，男人與男人做出羞恥的事，就在自己身上受到他們的妄為所應得的報應。既然人不願意真正認識神，神就任憑他們存敗壞的理性，去做那些不該做的事。

牠又行大奇蹟，甚至在眾人面前，使火從天降到地上。藉著那些奇蹟，就是牠被准許在第一隻獸面前所行的奇蹟，牠就迷惑了住在地上的人，告訴住在地上的人，要為那受刀傷卻活過來的獸，造一個像。牠又被准許把氣息給那獸像，甚至使那獸像能說話，又使所有不膜拜那獸像的人都被殺死。牠還強迫所有的人，無論卑微的或尊貴的、富有的或貧窮的、自由的或為奴的，都在右手或額上接受印記；

不過對那些蒙召的人，無論是猶太人、或是希臘人，基督總是神的大能、神的智慧。因為神的愚拙比人更智慧，神的軟弱比人更強壯。弟兄們，想一想你們所蒙的召喚：按人的標準，你們當中有智慧的不多，有權勢的不多，出身高貴的也不多。

他們目的一致，把自己的能力和權柄交給那獸。

在神的集會裡，神站在眾神明當中施行審判：「你們施行不義的審判，顧及惡人的情面，要到什麼時候呢？細拉你們當為貧弱者和孤兒伸冤，為困苦人和貧窮人施行公義；當挽救貧弱者和貧窮人，解救他們脫離惡人的手！你們不明白，也不領悟；你們在黑暗中往來行走；大地的根基全都動搖了。我曾說：『你們是神，都是至高者的兒子。』然而你們要死去，像世人一樣；要仆倒，像任何一位首領。」神哪，求你起來，審判大地，因為你將擁有萬國！
