Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed,“ Praised be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent forth his angel and has rescued his servants who trusted in him, ignoring the edict of the king and giving up their bodies rather than serve or pay homage to any god other than their God!

尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的上帝当受称颂！祂差遣天使拯救那些信靠祂的仆人。他们无视王命，宁肯死也不供奉、祭拜其他神明。

尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的神是应当称颂的，他差遣使者拯救那些倚靠他的仆人；他们违抗王的命令，宁愿舍命，除了自己的神以外，不肯事奉敬拜任何其他的神。

尼布甲尼撒就开口说：“沙德拉克、米沙克、亚伯尼哥的神是当受颂赞的！他派遣他的使者拯救了他的仆人们；他们信靠神，违抗王的命令，甚至舍弃己身，除了自己的神以外，不事奉、不膜拜任何其他神明。

尼布甲尼撒應時說：『沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的上帝是應當受祝頌的；他差遣他的使者，解救了他的僕人，就是那些信靠他的；他們挫折了王的命令，情願捨棄自己的身體，除了拜自己的上帝以外，不肯事奉任何神，不肯向任何神下拜。

尼布甲尼撒就開口說：「沙德拉克、米沙克、亞伯尼哥的神是當受頌讚的！他派遣他的使者拯救了他的僕人們；他們信靠神，違抗王的命令，甚至捨棄己身，除了自己的神以外，不事奉、不膜拜任何其他神明。

尼布甲尼撒曰、沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌之上帝、宜頌美焉、遣其使救賴之之僕、彼背王命、自舍其身、於其上帝外、不事他神、而崇拜之、

王曰、沙得臘、米煞、亞伯尼坷、賴其上帝、余雖降命、彼寧焚其身、不拜他上帝、故上帝遣使救援、當頌美不已。

尼布甲尼撒遂曰、當頌美沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌之天主、因遣其使者救賴之之僕、彼能舍身、不遵王命、在其天主外、不拜他神、或作尼布甲尼撒曰沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌舍身不遵王命在彼之天主以外不拜他神彼之天主當讚美因遣使者救賴之之僕

Then Nebuchadnezzar said,“ Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Then Nebuchadnezzar said,“ May the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be praised! He has sent his angel and saved his servants. They trusted in him. They refused to obey my command. They were willing to give up their lives. They would rather die than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar answered and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God.

Then Nebuchadnezzar said,“ Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed,“ Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel and rescued his servants who trusted in him. They violated the king’s command and risked their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar responded and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed- nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed,“ Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent His angel and rescued His servants who trusted in Him. They violated the king’s command and risked their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

[ Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed[ be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

For none of us lives for himself and none dies for himself.If we live, we live for the Lord; if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and said,

The LORD’s angel camps around the LORD’s loyal followers and delivers them.Taste and see that the LORD is good! How blessed is the one who takes shelter in him!

Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice– alive, holy, and pleasing to God– which is your reasonable service.

You keep completely safe the people who maintain their faith, for they trust in you.Trust in the LORD from this time forward, even in Yah, the LORD, an enduring protector!

The LORD sent a messenger and he wiped out all the soldiers, princes, and officers in the army of the king of Assyria. So Sennacherib returned home humiliated. When he entered the temple of his god, some of his own sons struck him down with the sword.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children to the third and fourth generations of those who reject me,

But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

But at the end of the appointed time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and my sanity returned to me. I extolled the Most High, and I praised and glorified the one who lives forever. For his authority is an everlasting authority, and his kingdom extends from one generation to the next.

In you our ancestors trusted; they trusted in you and you rescued them.To you they cried out, and they were saved; in you they trusted and they were not disappointed.

For the LORD God is our sovereign protector. The LORD bestows favor and honor; he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.O LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL, how blessed are those who trust in you!

The LORD takes delight in his faithful followers, and in those who wait for his loyal love.

Trust in him at all times, you people! Pour out your hearts before him! God is our shelter!( Selah)

The king replied to Daniel,“ Certainly your God is a God of gods and Lord of kings and revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery!”

He answered,“ But I see four men, untied and walking around in the midst of the fire! No harm has come to them! And the appearance of the fourth is like that of a god!”

The LORD’s messenger went out and killed 185,000 troops in the Assyrian camp. When they got up early the next morning, there were all the corpses!

They received divine help in fighting them, and the Hagrites and all their allies were handed over to them. They cried out to God during the battle; he responded to their prayers because they trusted in him.

I have issued an edict that throughout all the dominion of my kingdom people are to revere and fear the God of Daniel.“ For he is the living God; he endures forever. His kingdom will not be destroyed; his authority is forever.

Everything that the God of heaven has required should be precisely done for the temple of the God of heaven. Why should there be wrath against the empire of the king and his sons?Furthermore, be aware of the fact that you have no authority to impose tax, tribute, or toll on any of the priests, the Levites, the musicians, the doorkeepers, the temple servants, or the attendants at the temple of this God.“ Now you, Ezra, in keeping with the wisdom of your God which you possess, appoint judges and court officials who can arbitrate cases on behalf of all the people who are in Trans-Euphrates who know the laws of your God. Those who do not know this law should be taught.Everyone who does not observe both the law of your God and the law of the king will be completely liable to the appropriate penalty, whether it is death or banishment or confiscation of property or detainment in prison.”Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who so moved in the heart of the king to so honor the temple of the LORD which is in Jerusalem!He has also conferred his favor on me before the king, his advisers, and all the influential leaders of the king. I gained strength as the hand of the LORD my God was on me, and I gathered leaders from Israel to go up with me.

How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,the one who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who remains forever faithful,

Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Indeed we felt as if the sentence of death had been passed against us, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.He delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him that he will deliver us yet again,

He also said,“ Worthy of praise is the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem!

Praise the LORD, you angels of his, you powerful warriors who carry out his decrees and obey his orders!

so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of his glory.And when you heard the word of truth( the gospel of your salvation)– when you believed in Christ– you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit,

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation?

My God sent his angel and closed the lions’ mouths so that they have not harmed me, because I was found to be innocent before him. Nor have I done any harm to you, O king.”Then the king was delighted and gave an order to haul Daniel up from the den. So Daniel was hauled up out of the den. He had no injury of any kind, because he had trusted in his God.

At dawn the angels hurried Lot along, saying,“ Get going! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or else you will be destroyed when the city is judged!”When Lot hesitated, the men grabbed his hand and the hands of his wife and two daughters because the LORD had compassion on them. They led them away and placed them outside the city.

Early the next morning they marched out to the Desert of Tekoa. When they were ready to march, Jehoshaphat stood up and said:“ Listen to me, you people of Judah and residents of Jerusalem! Trust in the LORD your God and you will be safe! Trust in the message of his prophets and you will win.”

But Peter and John replied,“ Whether it is right before God to obey you rather than God, you decide,

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the prison cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up, saying,“ Get up quickly!” And the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.The angel said to him,“ Fasten your belt and put on your sandals.” Peter did so. Then the angel said to him,“ Put on your cloak and follow me.”Peter went out and followed him; he did not realize that what was happening through the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.After they had passed the first and second guards, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went outside and walked down one narrow street, when at once the angel left him.When Peter came to himself, he said,“ Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from everything the Jewish people were expecting to happen.”

Look, the LORD takes notice of his loyal followers, those who wait for him to demonstrate his faithfulness

My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me.They will be like a tree planted near a stream whose roots spread out toward the water. It has nothing to fear when the heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought. It does not stop bearing fruit.

Then Jesus said to him,“ Go away, Satan! For it is written:‘ You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”

For our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name.

My confident hope is that I will in no way be ashamed but that with complete boldness, even now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether I live or die.

The LORD rescues his servants; all who take shelter in him escape punishment.

Anyone from his people among you( may his God be with him!) may go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and may build the temple of the LORD God of Israel– he is the God who is in Jerusalem.

They were stoned, sawed apart, murdered with the sword; they went about in sheepskins and goatskins; they were destitute, afflicted, ill- treated

Now if you are ready, when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, trigon, harp, pipes, and all kinds of music, you must bow down and pay homage to the statue that I had made. If you don’t pay homage to it, you will immediately be thrown into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. Now, who is that god who can rescue you from my power?”Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to King Nebuchadnezzar,“ We do not need to give you a reply concerning this.If our God whom we are serving exists, he is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and he will rescue us, O king, from your power as well.But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we don’t serve your gods, and we will not pay homage to the golden statue that you have erected.”

“ I hereby give orders that if anyone changes this directive a beam is to be pulled out from his house and he is to be raised up and impaled on it, and his house is to be reduced to a rubbish heap for this indiscretion.
