and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

The royal rulers, high officials, governors and advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire hadn’t harmed their bodies. Not one hair on their heads was burned. Their robes weren’t burned either. And they didn’t even smell like smoke.

And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them.

Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke!

When the satraps, prefects, governors, and the king’s advisers gathered around, they saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men: not a hair of their heads was singed, their robes were unaffected, and there was no smell of fire on them.

The satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men, nor was the hair of their heads singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had even the smell of fire touched them.

When the satraps, prefects, governors, and the king’s advisers gathered around, they saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men: not a hair of their heads was singed, their robes were unaffected, and there was no smell of fire on them.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Once the satraps, prefects, governors, and ministers of the king had gathered around, they saw that those men were physically unharmed by the fire. The hair of their heads was not singed, nor were their trousers damaged. Not even the smell of fire was to be found on them!

The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed, the smell of fire wasn’t even on them.

滅了烈火的威力，逃脫了刀劍的鋒刃，從軟弱中得以剛強，在戰爭中得以強大，擊敗了外國的軍隊。

你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你渡過河流，水必不漫過你；你在火中行走，必不被燒灼，火焰也燒不著你。

至於你們，就是每一根頭髮也都被數過了。

為了我的名，你們將被所有的人憎恨，可是你們連一根頭髮也絕不會失去。

耶和華啊，你的手高舉，他們卻不看！願他們看到你對子民的熱心就蒙羞；願你為敵人所預備的烈火吞噬他們！

願他們知道，你——名為耶和華的，唯獨你是全地之上的至高者。

尼布甲尼撒王派遣人招聚行政官、總長、省長、參謀、司庫官、司法官、審判官和各省所有的官員，來參加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉獻禮。於是，行政官、總長、省長、參謀、司庫官、司法官、審判官和各省所有的官員，都被招聚來參加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉獻禮；他們站在尼布甲尼撒所立之像的前面。

所以我勸你們用飯，因為這是關於你們得救的事。要知道，你們中間，沒有一個人會失去一根頭髮。」

這聲音一響，有一群人就聚集而來，非常慌亂，因為各個人都聽見使徒們用各個人本地的語言說話。他們又驚訝又詫異，說：「看，這些說話的不都是加利利人嗎？我們怎麼會聽到我們各自出生地的語言呢？我們當中有帕提亞人、米底亞人、埃攔人；也有住在美索不達米亞、猶太和卡帕多細亞、本都和亞細亞、弗里吉亞和潘菲利亞、埃及和靠近古利奈的利比亞地區的人；還有從羅馬來的旅客，包括猶太人和入猶太教的人；克里特人和阿拉伯人。我們都聽見他們用我們的語言述說神偉大的作為！」眾人又驚訝又困惑，彼此問：「這是什麼意思呢？」

於是這三個人穿著長袍、長褲和其他的衣服，戴著頭巾，被綁起來扔進了烈火燃燒的窯中。

萬民中的萬族啊，你們當把榮耀和力量歸給耶和華，歸給耶和華！當把耶和華名的榮耀歸給他，當舉起供物，進入他的院宇。當向聖潔尊嚴的耶和華下拜；全地啊，你們當在他面前震撼！

其實王知道這些事，我才對王放膽直言。我深信這些事沒有一件瞞得過王，因為這不是在角落裡做的。

今天耶和華必把你交在我手中，我要擊殺你，從你身上砍下你的頭。今天我還要把非利士軍兵的屍首給天空的飛鳥和地上的野獸。這樣全地都會知道：以色列中有一位神；這全體會眾也會知道：耶和華不是靠著刀劍和長矛施行拯救，戰爭的勝敗在於耶和華。他必把你們交在我們手中！」
