and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

The royal rulers, high officials, governors and advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire hadn’t harmed their bodies. Not one hair on their heads was burned. Their robes weren’t burned either. And they didn’t even smell like smoke.

And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them.

Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke!

When the satraps, prefects, governors, and the king’s advisers gathered around, they saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men: not a hair of their heads was singed, their robes were unaffected, and there was no smell of fire on them.

When the satraps, prefects, governors, and the king’s advisers gathered around, they saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men: not a hair of their heads was singed, their robes were unaffected, and there was no smell of fire on them.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Once the satraps, prefects, governors, and ministers of the king had gathered around, they saw that those men were physically unharmed by the fire. The hair of their heads was not singed, nor were their trousers damaged. Not even the smell of fire was to be found on them!

The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed, the smell of fire wasn’t even on them.

灭了烈火的威力，逃脱了刀剑的锋刃，从软弱中得以刚强，在战争中得以强大，击败了外国的军队。

你从水中经过，我必与你同在；你渡过河流，水必不漫过你；你在火中行走，必不被烧灼，火焰也烧不着你。

至于你们，就是每一根头发也都被数过了。

为了我的名，你们将被所有的人憎恨，可是你们连一根头发也绝不会失去。

耶和华啊，你的手高举，他们却不看！愿他们看到你对子民的热心就蒙羞；愿你为敌人所预备的烈火吞噬他们！

愿他们知道，你——名为耶和华的，唯独你是全地之上的至高者。

尼布甲尼撒王派遣人招聚行政官、总长、省长、参谋、司库官、司法官、审判官和各省所有的官员，来参加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉献礼。于是，行政官、总长、省长、参谋、司库官、司法官、审判官和各省所有的官员，都被招聚来参加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉献礼；他们站在尼布甲尼撒所立之像的前面。

所以我劝你们用饭，因为这是关于你们得救的事。要知道，你们中间，没有一个人会失去一根头发。”

这声音一响，有一群人就聚集而来，非常慌乱，因为各个人都听见使徒们用各个人本地的语言说话。他们又惊讶又诧异，说：“看，这些说话的不都是加利利人吗？我们怎么会听到我们各自出生地的语言呢？我们当中有帕提亚人、米底亚人、埃拦人；也有住在美索不达米亚、犹太和卡帕多细亚、本都和亚细亚、弗里吉亚和潘菲利亚、埃及和靠近古利奈的利比亚地区的人；还有从罗马来的旅客，包括犹太人和入犹太教的人；克里特人和阿拉伯人。我们都听见他们用我们的语言述说神伟大的作为！”众人又惊讶又困惑，彼此问：“这是什么意思呢？”

于是这三个人穿着长袍、长裤和其他的衣服，戴着头巾，被绑起来扔进了烈火燃烧的窑中。

万民中的万族啊，你们当把荣耀和力量归给耶和华，归给耶和华！当把耶和华名的荣耀归给他，当举起供物，进入他的院宇。当向圣洁尊严的耶和华下拜；全地啊，你们当在他面前震撼！

其实王知道这些事，我才对王放胆直言。我深信这些事没有一件瞒得过王，因为这不是在角落里做的。

今天耶和华必把你交在我手中，我要击杀你，从你身上砍下你的头。今天我还要把非利士军兵的尸首给天空的飞鸟和地上的野兽。这样全地都会知道：以色列中有一位神；这全体会众也会知道：耶和华不是靠着刀剑和长矛施行拯救，战争的胜败在于耶和华。他必把你们交在我们手中！”
