王怒益甚、勃然變色、使爇洪爐、較常者燄烈七倍、

尼布甲尼撒聞此、忿怒盈懷、向沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、面容變色、命人爇窰、較常烈加七倍、

Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual

當時尼布甲尼撒勃然大怒，吩咐人把沙得拉、米煞和亞伯尼歌帶來；他們就被帶到王面前。

我就必發烈怒，與你們作對；我要按著你們的罪，再加重七倍管教你們。

“如果你們行事為人與我的心意相違，不肯聽從我，我就要按著你們的罪，使災禍加重七倍地臨到你們。

我也要與你們作對，按著你們的罪，再加重七倍擊打你們；

經過這些以後，如果你們還不聽從我，我就要因你們的罪加重七倍管教你們。

仇敵說：‘我要追趕，我要追上，我要均分擄物；我要在他們身上得到滿足；我要拔出刀來，親手趕絕他們。’你用風一吹，海就把他們淹沒，他們就像鉛一樣沉在大水之中。

我必把這杯放在那些苦待你的人的手裡；他們曾對你說：‘你屈身俯伏，讓我們走過去吧！’你就以你的背作陸地，作街道，任由他們踏過去。”

眾人聽了這些話，心中非常惱怒，就向著司提反咬牙切齒。

就臉色大變，心意驚惶，兩腳無力，雙膝彼此相碰。

石頭重，沙土也重，愚妄人的怒氣比這兩樣更重。烈怒雖然兇殘，暴怒又好像狂瀾，人還可以忍受；但面對嫉妒，誰能站立得住呢？

驕傲自大的人，他的名字是好譏笑人的；他行事狂妄驕傲。

王下令，人就把那些誣衊控告但以理的人，連同他們的妻子和兒女都一起帶來，扔在獅子坑中；他們還沒有下到坑底，獅子就抓住他們，把他們所有的骨頭都咬碎了。

人的忿怒必使你得稱讚，人的餘怒必成為你的裝飾。

只是沒有看中該隱和他的禮物。該隱就非常忿怒，垂頭喪氣。耶和華對該隱說：“你為甚麼忿怒呢？你為甚麼垂頭喪氣呢？

公議會的人聽了，非常惱怒，就想要殺他們。

然後把柴排好，又把公牛切成塊子，放在柴上，就說：“你們盛滿四桶水，倒在燔祭和柴上。”又說：“倒第二次。”他們就倒第二次；又說：“倒第三次。”他們就倒第三次。水流到祭壇的四周，甚至水溝裡也滿了水。

你坐下，你出去，你進來，以及你對我所發的烈怒，我都知道。因為你向我發了烈怒，你狂傲的話進入我的耳中，我要把我的鈎子鈎在你的鼻子上，把嚼環套在你的嘴上，使你在你來的路上轉回去。

雅各也注意到拉班的臉色，對自己不像從前那樣了。

“大人，我們想起那個騙子，生前說過：‘三天之後，我要復活。’所以請你下令把墳墓嚴密看守，直到第三天，免得他的門徒來把他偷去，然後對民眾說：‘他從死人中復活了。’這樣，日後的騙局比起初的就更大了。”彼拉多對他們說：“你們帶著衛兵，盡你們所能的去嚴密看守吧。”他們就去把墓前的石封好，又派衛兵把守，嚴密地守住墳墓。

於是王帶著盛怒，從酒席間起來，到御園裡去；哈曼卻留下來求王后以斯帖救他一命，因為哈曼看出王已經決意要加罪與他。

“我的朋友，我告訴你們，那殺身體以後不能再作甚麼的，不要怕他們。我要指示你們當怕的是誰：當怕那殺身體以後，有權把人投入地獄裡的；我告訴你們，應當怕他。

便．哈達又差派人去見亞哈說：“撒瑪利亞的塵土若是足夠跟從我的人每人捧一捧的話，願神明懲罰我，並且加倍懲罰我。”以色列王回答說：“你們去告訴他，佩戴武器的人，不可像解除武器的那樣自誇。”

君王的烈怒好像死亡的使者，唯有智慧人能平息君王的怒氣。
