Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual

当时尼布甲尼撒勃然大怒，吩咐人把沙得拉、米煞和亚伯尼歌带来；他们就被带到王面前。

我就必发烈怒，与你们作对；我要按着你们的罪，再加重七倍管教你们。

“如果你们行事为人与我的心意相违，不肯听从我，我就要按着你们的罪，使灾祸加重七倍地临到你们。

我也要与你们作对，按着你们的罪，再加重七倍击打你们；

经过这些以后，如果你们还不听从我，我就要因你们的罪加重七倍管教你们。

仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要均分掳物；我要在他们身上得到满足；我要拔出刀来，亲手赶绝他们。’你用风一吹，海就把他们淹没，他们就像铅一样沉在大水之中。

我必把这杯放在那些苦待你的人的手里；他们曾对你说：‘你屈身俯伏，让我们走过去吧！’你就以你的背作陆地，作街道，任由他们踏过去。”

众人听了这些话，心中非常恼怒，就向着司提反咬牙切齿。

就脸色大变，心意惊惶，两脚无力，双膝彼此相碰。

石头重，沙土也重，愚妄人的怒气比这两样更重。烈怒虽然凶残，暴怒又好像狂澜，人还可以忍受；但面对嫉妒，谁能站立得住呢？

骄傲自大的人，他的名字是好讥笑人的；他行事狂妄骄傲。

王下令，人就把那些诬蔑控告但以理的人，连同他们的妻子和儿女都一起带来，扔在狮子坑中；他们还没有下到坑底，狮子就抓住他们，把他们所有的骨头都咬碎了。

人的忿怒必使你得称赞，人的余怒必成为你的装饰。

只是没有看中该隐和他的礼物。该隐就非常忿怒，垂头丧气。耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么忿怒呢？你为什么垂头丧气呢？

公议会的人听了，非常恼怒，就想要杀他们。

然后把柴排好，又把公牛切成块子，放在柴上，就说：“你们盛满四桶水，倒在燔祭和柴上。”又说：“倒第二次。”他们就倒第二次；又说：“倒第三次。”他们就倒第三次。水流到祭坛的四周，甚至水沟里也满了水。

你坐下，你出去，你进来，以及你对我所发的烈怒，我都知道。因为你向我发了烈怒，你狂傲的话进入我的耳中，我要把我的钩子钩在你的鼻子上，把嚼环套在你的嘴上，使你在你来的路上转回去。

雅各也注意到拉班的脸色，对自己不像从前那样了。

“大人，我们想起那个骗子，生前说过：‘三天之后，我要复活。’所以请你下令把坟墓严密看守，直到第三天，免得他的门徒来把他偷去，然后对民众说：‘他从死人中复活了。’这样，日后的骗局比起初的就更大了。”彼拉多对他们说：“你们带着卫兵，尽你们所能的去严密看守吧。”他们就去把墓前的石封好，又派卫兵把守，严密地守住坟墓。

于是王带着盛怒，从酒席间起来，到御园里去；哈曼却留下来求王后以斯帖救他一命，因为哈曼看出王已经决意要加罪与他。

“我的朋友，我告诉你们，那杀身体以后不能再作什么的，不要怕他们。我要指示你们当怕的是谁：当怕那杀身体以后，有权把人投入地狱里的；我告诉你们，应当怕他。

便．哈达又差派人去见亚哈说：“撒玛利亚的尘土若是足够跟从我的人每人捧一捧的话，愿神明惩罚我，并且加倍惩罚我。”以色列王回答说：“你们去告诉他，佩戴武器的人，不可像解除武器的那样自夸。”

君王的烈怒好像死亡的使者，唯有智慧人能平息君王的怒气。
