Your Majesty has issued a decree that everyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music must fall down and worship the image of gold,

Your Majesty has commanded everyone to fall down and worship the gold statue. You told them to do it when they heard the horns, flutes, zithers, lyres, harps, pipes and other musical instruments.

You, O king, have made a decree, that every man who hears the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image.

法老命其民曰、凡其所生之男、悉投諸河、生女則全其命、

今爾聞角簫琵琶琴瑟笙、及各樂器之音、願伏拜我所製之像、則可、若不拜之、必即時投於烈火之爐、何神能拯爾於我手耶、

當以角聲頌美之、以瑟與琴頌美之兮、播鼗舞蹈頌美之、以絲與竹頌美之兮、以音洪之鈸頌美之、以聲高之鈸頌美之兮、凡有生氣者、其頌美耶和華、爾其頌美耶和華兮、

立不義之律、錄乖戾之詞、

埃及王命之曰、爾為希伯來婦收生、值臨產時、男則殺之、女則存焉、

首亞薩、次撒迦利雅、及雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、瑪他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄別以東、耶利鼓瑟鳴琴、亞薩擊鈸發聲、祭司比拿雅、雅哈悉、恆吹角於上帝約匱前、

以色列眾歡呼、吹角吹箛、擊鈸鼓瑟、鳴琴奏樂、舁耶和華約匱而上、

和琴瑟之聲、歌無謂之曲、為己而製樂器、同乎大衛、

稱謝耶和華、歌頌至高者之名、斯為美兮、朝宣爾之慈惠、夕彰爾之信實、用十絃之樂器與瑟、以琴清肅之聲和之兮、

王使利未人執鈸、與琴及瑟、在耶和華室奏樂、循大衛與其先見迦得、及先知拿單所命、即耶和華藉諸先知所命、

祭司諸長、與法利賽人曾出諭曰、若有知其所在者、宜報焉、俾得執之、

我觀日下、公庭有不公、義所有不義、

曰、非戰勝之聲、亦非戰敗之聲、我所聞者、乃謳歌之聲也、摩西近營見犢、及民舞蹈、怒甚、擲版、碎於山下、

願其舞蹈、頌美厥名、以鼗與琴歌頌之兮、耶和華喜悅其民、謙卑者、榮之以拯救兮、
