王啊，你曾發出命令：所有聽見號角、豎笛、里拉琴、弦琴、豎琴、風笛和各種樂器聲音的人，都要向這金像俯伏膜拜；

王啊，你曾降旨说，凡听见角、笛、琵琶、琴、瑟、笙，和各样乐器声音的都当俯伏敬拜金像。

你，王啊，你曾降旨，凡听见角、号、琴、瑟、三角琴、鼓和各样乐器声音的，都当俯伏拜这金像。

Your Majesty has issued a decree that everyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music must fall down and worship the image of gold,

Your Majesty has commanded everyone to fall down and worship the gold statue. You told them to do it when they heard the horns, flutes, zithers, lyres, harps, pipes and other musical instruments.

You, O king, have made a decree, that every man who hears the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image.

You issued a decree requiring all the people to bow down and worship the gold statue when they hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments.

那時，傳令官大聲宣告：「各民族、各國家、各語言群體，以下是給你們的命令：你們一聽見號角、豎笛、里拉琴、弦琴、豎琴、風笛和各種樂器的聲音，就要向尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像俯伏膜拜；誰不俯伏膜拜，誰就立刻被扔進烈火燃燒的窯中。」因此那時候，所有的民族、國家、語言群體一聽見號角、豎笛、里拉琴、弦琴、豎琴和各種樂器的聲音，就都向尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像俯伏膜拜。

於是他們來到王面前，提起有關王的禁令：「王啊，難道你不是簽署了以下的禁令嗎？三十天之內，無論何人，如果向你以外的任何神明或任何人祈禱，就必被扔進獅子坑！」王開口說：「照著不能廢除的米底亞和波斯的法令，確實如此。」

一月十三日，王的書記們被召來，照著哈曼所吩咐的一切，給王的行政官們、管理各省的省長和各民族的首領下旨，用各省的文字給各個省，用各民族的語言給各個民族，以亞哈隨魯王的名義下旨，又用王的印戒封印。詔書藉著信使們的手傳送給王的各省：要各省在十二月（亞達月）十三日，一天之內，把所有的猶太人，無論老少、孩童或婦女，都除滅、擊殺、消滅，並且掠奪他們的財物。這文書的副本以法令的形式在各個省頒布，通告各民族，讓他們為這一天做好準備。

現在，你們一聽見號角、豎笛、里拉琴、弦琴、豎琴、風笛和各種樂器的聲音，如果準備向我所造的像俯伏膜拜，那就沒有事了；如果不膜拜，你們就立刻被扔進烈火燃燒的窯中。有什麼神能從我的手中拯救你們呢？」

那些坐在奸惡王位上的，就是藉著律例製造禍患的，難道能成為你的盟友嗎？

牠還強迫所有的人，無論卑微的或尊貴的、富有的或貧窮的、自由的或為奴的，都在右手或額上接受印記；這樣，除了有這印記的人，誰都不可以買或賣，這印記就是獸的名字或牠名字的數目。

你們當向神——我們的力量歡唱，向雅各的神歡呼！當高唱頌歌，搖起鈴鼓，彈奏美妙的豎琴與里拉琴！當在新月時、在滿月時，在我們過節的日子吹響號角！

要用號角的聲音讚美他，用里拉琴和豎琴讚美他！要用鈴鼓和跳舞讚美他，用絲弦和笛子讚美他！要用響亮的銅鈸讚美他，用大聲的銅鈸讚美他！一切有氣息的，都要讚美耶和華！哈利路亞！

禍哉！那些制定邪惡律例、記錄不義判決的！

稱謝耶和華、歌頌至高者你的名，是多麼美好——在清晨宣告你的慈愛、在夜間宣告你的信實，用十弦琴、里拉琴、豎琴的旋律！

原來，祭司長們和法利賽人早就下令，如果有人知道耶穌在哪裡，就要報告，好抓住他。

我還看到在日光之下，在審判的地方有奸惡，在公義的地方也有奸惡。

願他們用跳舞讚美他的名，用鈴鼓和豎琴歌頌他！因為耶和華喜悅他的子民，他使卑微人以救恩為裝飾。
