If you do not tell me the dream, there is only one penalty for you. You have conspired to tell me misleading and wicked things, hoping the situation will change. So then, tell me the dream, and I will know that you can interpret it for me.”

You must tell me the dream. If you don’t, you will pay for it. You have gotten together and made evil plans. You hope things will change. So you are telling me lies. But I want you to tell me what I dreamed. Then I’ll know that you can tell me what it means.”

“王所有的臣仆和各省的人民，都知道有一条法令：无论男女，没有奉召就擅入内院去见王的，除非王向他伸出金杖，赐他免死，一律要处以死刑。现在我没有奉召进去见王已经三十天了。”

他改变时间、季节；他废王、立王；他赐智慧给智慧人，赐知识给聪明人。

现在，如果你们想清楚，一听见角、笛、琵琶、弦琴、竖琴、风笛和各种乐器的声音，就俯伏向我所做的像下拜，那还可以。如果你们不下拜，就必立刻扔在烈火的窑中。哪里有神能救你们脱离我的手呢？”

‘毗勒斯’（“毗勒斯”即“乌法珥新”的单数式）就是你的国要分裂，归给玛代人和波斯人。”

你们为了几把大麦，为了几块饼，就在我的子民中间亵渎我；你们向我那些愿听谎言的子民说谎，不该死的人，你们杀死了；不该活的人，你们却保全他们的性命。

说实话的嘴唇，永远坚立；撒谎的舌头，眨眼间消失。

“人子啊！你要面向民中那些随着自己心意说预言的女子，说预言攻击她们。你要说：

于是以色列王把众先知聚集了来，约有四百人，问他们：“我可以去攻打基列的拉末吗？或是应当忍耐不去呢？”他们说：“你可以上去，主必把那城交在王的手里。”

我使说假话者的兆头失效，使占卜者都变成愚昧人；我使有智慧的人后退，使他们的知识变为愚拙。

他们所见的是虚假的异象，是骗人的占卜；他们说：‘这是耶和华的宣告。’其实耶和华并没有差遣他们，他们却希望自己的话能够应验。

玛代人大利乌夺取了迦勒底国；那时他六十二岁。（本节在《马索拉文本》为6:1）

他回答：‘我要出去，在亚哈所有先知的口中，作说谎的灵。’耶和华说：‘你可以去引诱他，你也必能成功，你去这样行吧！’

我们不像那许多的人，为了图利而谬讲神的道。相反地，我们讲话，是出于真诚，出于神，是在神面前、在基督里的。
