伯沙撒遂命以絳袍衣但以理、以金索垂其項、頒詔使之治國、職居其三、

我將詣顯者與之言、彼識耶和華之道、明其上帝之法、惟彼同心折軛斷繩、

有居瑪雲者、業在迦密、甚富、有綿羊三千、山羊一千、適在迦密剪羊毛、

其產有羊七千、駝三千、牛五百耦、牝驢五百、僕從眾多、在東方、斯人為至大、

巴西萊老邁、年已八十、其家巨富、王在瑪哈念時、嘗以所需供王、

王遂陞沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌於巴比倫州、

爾須速返故土、我意使爾尊顯、而耶和華禁之、

既至、謂巴蘭曰、西撥子巴勒有言、爾勿有所扞格、而不我臨、我將使爾尊顯、凡爾所言、我必依行、請爾蒞臨、以詛斯民、

亞蘭王之軍長乃縵、在其主前為大為尊、緣耶和華藉之使亞蘭獲勝、素為英武、第患癩疾、

相語曰、爾見斯人乎、彼來欲侮以色列族、如有殺之者、王將賜以厚財、以女妻之、並於以色列中、復其父家、

有猶大數人、沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、乃王所立、以理巴比倫州事者、王歟、斯人不尊重爾、不事爾神、不拜爾所立之金像、

尼布甲尼撒王製金像、高六十肘、廣六肘、立於巴比倫州杜拉平原、

大利烏悅立方伯百二十人、分治全國、更立宰輔三人、但以理居其一、俾方伯述職於其前、免王受損、
