Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men.

你们若将梦和梦的讲解告诉我，就必从我这里得赠品和赏赐，并大尊荣。现在你们要将梦和梦的讲解告诉我。”

在你国中有一人，他里头有圣神的灵，你父在世的日子，这人心中光明，又有聪明智慧，好像神的智慧。你父尼布甲尼撒王，就是王的父，立他为术士、用法术的，和迦勒底人，并观兆的领袖。

‘术士的领袖伯提沙撒啊，因我知道你里头有圣神的灵，什么奥秘的事都不能使你为难。现在要把我梦中所见的异象和梦的讲解告诉我。’

我听说你善于讲解，能解疑惑；现在你若能读这文字，把讲解告诉我，就必身穿紫袍，项戴金链，在我国中位列第三。”

法老对约瑟说：“神既将这事都指示你，可见没有人像你这样有聪明有智慧。你可以掌管我的家；我的民都必听从你的话。惟独在宝座上我比你大。”法老又对约瑟说：“我派你治理埃及全地。”法老就摘下手上打印的戒指，戴在约瑟的手上，给他穿上细麻衣，把金链戴在他的颈项上，又叫约瑟坐他的副车，喝道的在前呼叫说：“跪下。”这样，法老派他治理埃及全地。

伯沙撒下令，人就把紫袍给但以理穿上，把金链给他戴在颈项上，又传令使他在国中位列第三。

我要去见尊大的人，对他们说话，因为他们晓得耶和华的作为和他们神的法则。哪知，这些人齐心将轭折断，挣开绳索。

在玛云有一个人，他的产业在迦密，是一个大富户，有三千绵羊，一千山羊；他正在迦密剪羊毛。

他的家产有七千羊，三千骆驼，五百对牛，五百母驴，并有许多仆婢。这人在东方人中就为至大。

巴西莱年纪老迈，已经八十岁了。王住在玛哈念的时候，他就拿食物来供给王；他原是大富户。

那时王在巴比伦省，高升了沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌。

如今你快回本地去吧！我想使你得大尊荣，耶和华却阻止你不得尊荣。”

他们到了巴兰那里，对他说：“西拨的儿子巴勒这样说：‘求你不容什么事拦阻你不到我这里来，因为我必使你得极大的尊荣。你向我要什么，我就给你什么；只求你来为我咒诅这民。’”

亚兰王的元帅乃缦在他主人面前为尊为大，因耶和华曾藉他使亚兰人得胜；他又是大能的勇士，只是长了大麻风。

以色列人彼此说：“这上来的人你看见了吗？他上来是要向以色列人骂阵。若有能杀他的，王必赏赐他大财，将自己的女儿给他为妻，并在以色列人中免他父家纳粮当差。”

现在有几个犹大人，就是王所派管理巴比伦省事务的沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌；王啊，这些人不理你，不侍奉你的神，也不敬拜你所立的金像。”

尼布甲尼撒王造了一个金像，高六十肘，宽六肘，立在巴比伦省杜拉平原。

大流士随心所愿，立一百二十个总督，治理通国。又在他们以上立总长三人（但以理在其中），使总督在他们三人面前回复事务，免得王受亏损。
