至於法老兩次作夢，是因為神已經命定這事，並且要快快地實行。

這就是我對法老所說：神要作的事，他已經向法老顯明了。

在我們神的城中，在他的聖山上，耶和華是至大的，應該大受讚美。

主耶和華啊，因此，你是偉大的！按照我們耳朵所聽見的，沒有像你的，除了你以外，再沒有別的神。

萬軍之耶和華說：“從日出到日落的地方，我的名在列國中為大；在各處都有人向我的名燒香，獻上潔淨的禮物，因為我的名在列國中為大。”

你向千萬人施慈愛，又把父親的罪孽都報應在他們的兒女身上。你是偉大、有能力的神，萬軍之耶和華是你（“你”原文作“他”）的名。你的計劃偉大，你的作為滿有能力；你的眼睛睜開，察看世人一切所行的，要照著各人的行為，和各人所作的事應得的結果來報應各人。

因為耶和華你們的神，他是萬神之神、萬主之主、偉大有力和可畏的神；他不徇情面，也不受賄賂。

到那日，我要使耶路撒冷對萬族來說像一塊沉重的石頭，舉起它的必受重傷；地上的列國必聚集起來攻擊耶路撒冷。

我巡視之後，就起來，對貴族、官長和其餘的人民說：“不要怕他們，要記得主是偉大可畏的，要為你們的兄弟、兒女、妻子和你們的家爭戰。”

你正觀看的時候，有一塊非人手鑿成的石頭，擊在那座大像鐵和泥混雜的腳上，把腳砸碎了。於是鐵、泥、銅、銀、金都一同砸得粉碎，好像夏天禾場上的糠秕，被風吹散，無處可尋；那打碎這像的石頭卻變成一座大山，充滿全地。

那些王在位的時候，天上的神必興起另一個永不滅亡的國，國權必不歸給別族的人。這國必砸碎毀滅其他各國；並且這國必存到永遠。

因為我們作戰所用的兵器，不是屬於這世界的，而是在神面前有能力的，可以攻陷堅固的堡壘，攻破詭辯，和做來阻擋人認識神的一切高牆，並且把一切心意奪回來，順服基督。

我確實知道耶和華是偉大的，我們的主超越萬神之上。

“我們的神啊，你是至大、全能、至可畏、守約施慈愛的神，現在求你不要把我們、我們的君王和領袖、我們的祭司和先知、我們的列祖和你的眾民，從亞述列王的日子直到今日所遭遇的一切苦難，看為小事。

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

所以，你要把所看見的，現在的，和今後將要發生的事都寫下來。

耶和華是至大的，配受極大的讚美，他的偉大無法測度。

因為耶和華是偉大的，該受極大的讚美，他當受敬畏，過於眾神之上。

這些事以後，我觀看，見天上有一道門開著；並且有我第一次聽見的那個好像號筒的聲音，對我說：“你上這裡來！我要把以後必定發生的事指示你。”

我又看見一位天使站在太陽中，向高空所有的飛鳥大聲呼喊說：“你們來吧！齊集起來赴神的大筵席！

神為至大，我們不能了解，他的年數，無法測度。

法利賽人問耶穌：“神的國甚麼時候來到呢？”他回答：“神的國來到，是眼睛看不見的。

於是但以理進去見亞略，就是王委派去殺絕巴比倫的智慧人的，對他這樣說：“不要殺絕巴比倫的智慧人；請把我帶到王面前，我要把夢的意思向王解釋。”

耶穌回答他們：“我也要問你們一句話，如果你們告訴我，我就告訴你們我憑甚麼權柄作這些事。

因為耶和華是偉大的，當受極大的讚美；他當受敬畏，遠在萬神之上。
