復有其四之國、堅剛似鐵、夫鐵能服百物而碎之、此國亦必行破壞如鐵然、

最後一國、剛強若鐵、鐵能服百物而碎之、眾國皆為所破、

其後又有一國、即第四國、剛強若鐵、鐵能破百物而碎之、其國將破眾國而碎之、如鐵之破百物、

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron— for iron breaks and smashes everything— and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others.

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom. It will be as strong as iron. Iron breaks and smashes everything to pieces. And the fourth kingdom will crush and break all the others.

And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth one, as strong as iron. That kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires, just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes.

A fourth kingdom will be as strong as iron; for iron crushes and shatters everything, and like iron that smashes, it will crush and smash all the others.

“那时我很想知道有关那第四只兽的真义；那兽与其他各兽都不相同，它极其恐怖，有铁牙和铜爪，吞吃咬碎，又把剩余的用脚踩踏。我也很想知道有关它头上的十只犄角和那另长出的犄角的真义——在这犄角面前有三只犄角倒下了；这犄角有眼睛，有说大话的口，它的样子比它的同类更大。我继续观看，这犄角与圣徒们作战，并胜过了他们，直到亘古永存者来临，为至高者的圣徒们伸张公正，圣徒们拥有国度的所定时候就来到了。“那位侍立者这样说：‘那第四只兽是地上将有的第四个国，与其他各国都不相同，必吞吃全地，把它践踏咬碎。至于那十只犄角，是从这国中将要兴起的十个王；在他们之后将有另一个王兴起，与先前的那些都不相同，必使三个王屈服。他必说话敌对至高者，折磨至高者的圣徒们，又企图更改所定的时候和法令；圣徒们将被交在他的手中一期、二期、半期。然而庭审将要开始，那王的权柄必被夺去，除灭消亡，直到永远。

“这王任意而行，自高自大，高抬自己超过一切神明，并说荒谬的话来敌对万神之神；他事事顺利，直到愤怒的时期终结，因为那被注定的事必成就。他不顾祖先的神明，不顾女人们所爱慕的神明，也不顾任何其他的神明，因为他高抬自己超过一切。他反而会荣耀一个堡垒之神，用金子、银子、宝石和珍宝荣耀他祖先所不认识的神明。他必靠着外邦神明的帮助对坚固的堡垒采取行动，而对那些承认他的人，他把荣耀大大加给他们，使他们管辖许多人，又把土地分给他们作为报偿。“末后的时期，南方王会与他冲撞。北方王必带着战车、马兵和许多战船，暴风般地攻击他，并侵入列国，如洪水漫溢，纵横穿越。他必侵入那荣美之地，许多国家将被倾倒，但是以东人和摩押人，亚扪子孙的首要人物必从他的手中被救出。他必伸手攻击列国，连埃及地也不会逃脱。他将管辖埃及金银宝藏和一切珍宝；利比亚人和库实人都将跟随他的脚步。然而，从东方、从北方必有消息使他惶恐，他就在极大的怒火中出兵，为要把许多人灭绝净尽。他必在两海之间的荣美圣山上搭起他的王宫帐幕，但他的结局将要来到，没有人帮助他。

那六十二个‘七’之后，受膏者必被剪除，他将一无所有。将要来一位领袖，他的民众必毁灭这城和圣所，其结局必伴随着洪流，必有战争直到末了；荒凉的事已经被注定了。

它的小腿是铁的，它的脚有部分是铁的，有部分是泥的。

如果任凭他这样下去，大家都会信他，罗马人就会来，夺取我们的圣地和国家！”

他的力量必强盛，却不是出于自己的力量；他必带来极不寻常的毁灭，他所做的都顺利；他必毁灭强者和圣洁之民；
