還有第四國，堅強如鐵，因為鐵能砸碎擊破萬物；鐵怎樣壓碎一切，那國也要照樣砸碎一切。

第四国，必坚壮如铁，铁能打碎克制百物，又能压碎一切，那国也必打碎压制列国。

然後會有第四個國，它必強硬如鐵。鐵怎樣砸碎、擊破一切，怎樣壓碎一切，這國也照樣砸碎、壓碎一切。

復有其四之國、堅剛似鐵、夫鐵能服百物而碎之、此國亦必行破壞如鐵然、

最後一國、剛強若鐵、鐵能服百物而碎之、眾國皆為所破、

其後又有一國、即第四國、剛強若鐵、鐵能破百物而碎之、其國將破眾國而碎之、如鐵之破百物、

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron— for iron breaks and smashes everything— and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others.

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom. It will be as strong as iron. Iron breaks and smashes everything to pieces. And the fourth kingdom will crush and break all the others.

And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth one, as strong as iron. That kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires, just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes.

A fourth kingdom will be as strong as iron; for iron crushes and shatters everything, and like iron that smashes, it will crush and smash all the others.

後來，我在夜間的異象中繼續觀看，看見有第四隻獸，非常恐怖，十分可怕，極其強壯。牠有大鐵牙；牠吞吃咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踐踏；這獸和前面的各獸都不相同；牠有十個角。

那時我想知道有關第四隻獸的實情，牠和其他三獸不相同，十分恐怖，有鐵牙銅爪；牠吞吃咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踐踏。我又想知道有關牠頭上的十角，和那另長出來的小角，以及那三個在這小角前面倒下的角的實情。這小角有眼，有說誇大話的嘴；牠的形狀比牠的同類更威猛。我繼續觀看，看見這小角和聖民爭戰，戰勝了他們，直到萬古常存者來到，為至高者的聖民伸張正義；聖民擁有國度的時候就到了。“那位侍立者這樣說：‘那第四隻獸就是世上必有的第四國，和其他各國都不相同；牠必吞吃全地，踐踏咬碎全地。至於那十角，就是從這國中將要興起的十個王，在他們以後，必有另一個王興起，和先前的王都不相同；他必制伏三個王。他必說話，敵擋至高者；他必折磨至高者的聖民，又想改變節期和律法；聖民必交在他的手中，一載、二載、半載（“一載、二載、半載”或譯：“一個時期、多個時期、半個時期”）。但審判要開始，他的權柄必被奪去，他必被毀壞滅絕，直到永遠。

“那王必任意而行，自高自大，超過所有的神，又說一些怪誕的話攻擊萬神之神。他必行事順利，直到神的忿怒完畢；因為所定的事必會實現。他必不尊重他列祖所拜的神，也不尊重婦女所愛慕的神，無論甚麼神他都不尊重，因為他必自大，高過一切。他倒要敬拜堡壘的神，用金銀寶石和各樣珍寶去敬拜他列祖所不認識的神。他必得著外族神的幫助，攻破堅固的堡壘；凡承認他的，他必使他們大得尊榮，又使他們管轄許多人，並且把土地分給他們作賞賜。“到了末期，南方王要和他交戰；北方王必帶著戰車、騎兵和大批戰船，像暴風一般來到他那裡；他必侵入列國，如洪水氾濫，橫掃而過。他也必侵入那榮美之地；必有許多國傾覆；但那些以東人、摩押人和亞捫人的首領，必被拯救脫離他的手。他必伸手攻擊列國，埃及地也不能逃脫。他必掌管埃及的金銀寶藏和一切珍寶；呂彼亞人和古實人都必追隨他。但從東方和北方必有消息傳來，使他驚惶，他就在烈怒之下出兵，要把許多人殺盡滅絕。他必在海和榮美的聖山之間支搭如宮殿一般的帳幕；然而他們的結局來到，必沒有人能幫助他。”

“耶和華這樣說：‘大馬士革三番四次犯罪，我必不收回懲罰他的命令（“我必不收回懲罰他的命令”直譯作“我必不扭轉它”）；因為他用打穀的鐵器蹂躪基列。

六十二個七以後，受膏者必被剪除，一無所有（“一無所有”或譯：“不再存在”）；那將要來的領袖的人民必毀滅這城和聖所。結局必像洪水而來；必有爭戰直到末了；荒涼的事已經定了。

腿是鐵的，腳是鐵和泥混雜的。

誰可以折斷鐵，就是從北方來的鐵和銅呢？

我們若讓他這樣，所有的人都會信他，羅馬人就會來，奪取我們的聖地，除滅我們的民族。”

他的權勢強大，卻不是出於自己的能力；他必造成驚人的毀滅；他任意而行，凡事順利；他必毀滅有強力的，又毀滅聖民。
