Then the astrologers answered the king,“ May the king live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it.”

大家前呼後擁，高聲歡呼：「和散那！奉主名來的當受稱頌！那將要來臨的我祖大衛的國度當受稱頌！和散那歸於至高之處的上帝！」

術士、巫師、占星家和占卜者都來了，我將夢告訴他們，他們卻不能給我解夢。

拉班稱那石堆為伊迦爾·撒哈杜他，雅各卻稱那石堆為迦累得。

但以理，又名伯提沙撒，一時非常驚訝，惶恐不安。王說：「伯提沙撒啊，不要因為這夢和夢的意思而惶恐不安。」伯提沙撒回答說：「我主啊，願這夢發生在恨你的人身上，夢的意思應驗在你的仇敵身上。

撒母耳對百姓說：「這就是耶和華為你們選的人。在以色列沒有人能比得上他。」眾人高呼：「願王萬歲！」

王所有的智者進來後，竟無人能讀懂或把意思告訴王。

我對王說：「願王萬歲！我祖墳所在的城邑已成廢墟，城門也被燒毀，我怎能不面帶愁容？」

他今天宰了許多牛羊和肥犢獻祭，宴請眾王子、將領和亞比亞他祭司，他們正在他那裡一邊吃喝一邊說，『亞多尼雅王萬歲！』

我使假先知的預兆無法應驗，使占卜者醜態百出；我顛覆智者的知識，使之愚不可及。

早上法老心中不安，就派人召來埃及所有的術士和博學之士，把夢告訴他們，可是沒有一個人能為他解夢。

眾人前呼後擁，歡呼著說：「和散那歸於大衛的後裔！奉主名來的當受稱頌！和散那歸於至高之處的上帝！」
