But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me for any wisdom residing in me more than in any other living person, but for the purpose of making the interpretation known to the king, and that you may understand the thoughts of your mind.

至于那奥秘的事显明给我，并非因我的智慧胜过一切活人，乃为使王知道梦的讲解和心里的思念。

此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

非我較天下人有智、惟上帝以此秘奧示我、遣我以兆告王、使王追憶前事、

此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

Now the mystery has been explained to me. But it isn’t because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive. It’s because God wants you to know what the mystery means, Your Majesty. He wants you to understand what went through your mind.

Then Daniel went to his house and informed his friends, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, about the matter,so that they might request compassion from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his friends would not be killed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

For behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind, And declares to a person what are His thoughts, He who makes dawn into darkness And treads on the high places of the earth, The Lord God of armies is His name.

and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you.Since you are precious in My sight, Since you are honored and I love you, I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life.

And as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and intelligence in every kind of literature and expertise; Daniel even understood all kinds of visions and dreams.

So then, no one is to be boasting in people. For all things belong to you,whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come; all things belong to you,and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

For the sake of Jacob My servant, And Israel My chosen one, I have also called you by your name; I have given you a title of honor Though you have not known Me.

And Daniel made a request of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego over the administration of the province of Babylon, while Daniel was at the king’s court.

For all things are for your sakes, so that grace, having spread to more and more people, will cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

And if those days had not been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
