至於我呢、這機密事啓示於我、並不是因我所有的智慧勝過任何活人，乃是為要使王知道夢的解析，好使你知道你心裏所思想的是甚麼。

至于那奥秘的事显明给我，并非因我的智慧胜过一切活人，乃为使王知道梦的讲解和心里的思念。

至于我，那奥秘显明给我，并非因我智慧胜过一切活着的人，而是为了让王知道梦的解释，知道你心里的意念。

此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

非我較天下人有智、惟上帝以此秘奧示我、遣我以兆告王、使王追憶前事、

此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

Now the mystery has been explained to me. But it isn’t because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive. It’s because God wants you to know what the mystery means, Your Majesty. He wants you to understand what went through your mind.

But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.

And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

約瑟回答法老說：『不在於我；是上帝要將平安的事回示法老的。』

彼得看見，就應時對人民說：『以色列人哪，你們為甚麼因這事而希奇呢？為甚麼定睛看我們，好像我們憑着自己的能力或敬虔使這個人能走路呢？

於是但以理回到寓所，將事情告訴他的同伴哈拿尼雅、米沙利、亞撒利雅，要他們對這機密的事祈求天上的上帝施憐憫，免得但以理和他的同伴跟巴比倫其餘的博士一同滅亡。

『因為你看，那塑造了山、創造了風、將「心意如何」指示人、使晨光變為幽暗、腳踏地之山丘的、萬軍之上帝永恆主耶和華是他的名。

儘末了竟現給我看見，給我這個像未到產期就生下來的！我，我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我曾逼迫了上帝的教會。然而靠着上帝的恩，我成了我現在這樣的人；並且他所給我的恩也不見得是空的；不，我反而比他們眾人還勞苦呢；其實並不是我，乃是上帝的恩與我同在。所以不拘是我、是他們，我們呢、是這樣宣傳，你們呢、也這樣相信。基督既被宣傳：他已經從死人中得甦活起來，怎麼你們中間還有人說沒有死人之復活呢？

因為我永恆主是你的上帝，是以色列之聖者，是拯救你的。我使埃及做你的贖價，使古實和示巴做你的替身。你在我眼中被看為至寶，你受尊榮，而我愛你，因此我使沿海地帶代替你，使列國之民替換你的性命。

這四個年輕人、上帝在各樣典籍和學問上都賜給他們知識和通達；但以理又明白各樣異象和夢兆。

所以誰都不要拿人來誇口了！一切都是你們的：或保羅、或亞波羅、或磯法、或世界、或活、或死、或現在的、或將來的、全是你們的；但你們卻是基督的，基督又是上帝的。

並且我們曉得，凡愛上帝的、就是按他的定旨蒙召的人、上帝在萬事上都和他們同工，來成就有益的事。

為了我僕人雅各，我所揀選的以色列之緣故，我呼喚你的名召了你，將頭銜加給你，雖則你不認識我。

但以理向王請求，王就分派沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、管理巴比倫省的政務；但以理卻仍留在王的門庭中。

一切都是為了你們，好叫恩惠、既藉着更多的人而增多着、便可以使感謝也越發溢流出來、以彰顯上帝之榮耀。

若不是那些日子被截短了，凡是血肉之人就沒有一個能得救；但是為了蒙揀選的人的緣故，那些日子是必會被截短的。

若不是主截短了那些日子，凡是血肉之人就沒有一個能得救。但為了他所揀選的選民，他已截短了那些日子了。
