至於那奧祕的事顯明給我，不是因為我比所有的活人更有智慧，而是要使王明白那夢的釋義和王心裡的意念。

此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

非我較天下人有智、惟上帝以此秘奧示我、遣我以兆告王、使王追憶前事、

此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

Now the mystery has been explained to me. But it isn’t because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive. It’s because God wants you to know what the mystery means, Your Majesty. He wants you to understand what went through your mind.

But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.

And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

約瑟回答法老說：「這不在乎我，神必將平安的話回答法老。」

彼得看見，就對百姓說：「以色列人哪，為甚麼把這事當作希奇呢？為甚麼定睛看我們，以為我們憑自己的能力和虔誠使這人行走呢？

但以理回到他的居所，將這事告訴他的同伴哈拿尼雅、米沙利、亞撒利雅，要他們祈求天上的神施憐憫，將這奧祕的事指明，免得但以理和他的同伴與巴比倫其餘的哲士一同滅亡。

那創山、造風、將心意指示人、使晨光變為幽暗、腳踏在地之高處的，他的名是耶和華－萬軍之神。

末了也顯給我看；我如同未到產期而生的人一般。我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我從前逼迫神的教會。然而，我今日成了何等人，是蒙神的恩才成的，並且他所賜我的恩不是徒然的。我比眾使徒格外勞苦；這原不是我，乃是神的恩與我同在。不拘是我，是眾使徒，我們如此傳，你們也如此信了。既傳基督是從死裏復活了，怎麼在你們中間有人說沒有死人復活的事呢？

因為我是耶和華－你的神，是以色列的聖者－你的救主；我已經使埃及作你的贖價，使古實和西巴代替你。因我看你為寶為尊；又因我愛你，所以我使人代替你，使列邦人替換你的生命。

這四個少年人，神在各樣文字學問上賜給他們聰明知識；但以理又明白各樣的異象和夢兆。

所以無論誰，都不可拿人誇口，因為萬有全是你們的。或保羅，或亞波羅，或磯法，或世界，或生，或死，或現今的事，或將來的事，全是你們的；並且你們是屬基督的，基督又是屬神的。

我們曉得萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處，就是按他旨意被召的人。

因我僕人雅各，我所揀選以色列的緣故，我就提名召你；你雖不認識我，我也加給你名號。

但以理求王，王就派沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌管理巴比倫省的事務，只是但以理常在朝中侍立。

凡事都是為你們，好叫恩惠因人多越發加增，感謝格外顯多，以致榮耀歸與神。

若不減少那日子，凡有血氣的總沒有一個得救的；只是為選民，那日子必減少了。

若不是主減少那日子，凡有血氣的，總沒有一個得救的；只是為主的選民，他將那日子減少了。
