現在這隱祕的事向我顯明，並不是因為我的智慧勝過所有的人，而是要使王知道夢的意思和你心想明白的事。

至于那奥秘的事显明给我，并非因我的智慧胜过一切活人，乃为使王知道梦的讲解和心里的思念。

至於那奧祕的事顯明給我，不是因為我比所有的活人更有智慧，而是要使王明白那夢的釋義和王心裡的意念。

此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

非我較天下人有智、惟上帝以此秘奧示我、遣我以兆告王、使王追憶前事、

此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

Now the mystery has been explained to me. But it isn’t because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive. It’s because God wants you to know what the mystery means, Your Majesty. He wants you to understand what went through your mind.

But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.

And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

約瑟回答法老，說：“解夢不在於我，但神必給法老一個吉祥的解答。”

彼得看見了，就對群眾說：“以色列人哪，為甚麼因這事希奇呢？為甚麼瞪著我們，好像我們是憑著自己的能力和虔誠，使這人行走呢？

但以理回到自己的家裡，把這事告訴他的同伴哈拿尼雅、米沙利和亞撒利雅，要他們為這隱祕的事祈求天上的神憐憫，免得但以理和他的同伴與巴比倫其餘的智慧人一同滅亡。

看哪！他造了山，創造了風，把他的心意告訴人；他使晨光變為黑暗，他的腳踏在地的高處，耶和華萬軍的神就是他的名。

最後也向我顯現；我好像一個未到產期而生的人。我原是使徒中最小的，本來沒有資格稱為使徒，因為我曾經迫害神的教會。然而靠著神的恩典，我得以有了今天，而且他賜給我的恩典並沒有落空；我比眾使徒格外勞苦，其實不是我，而是神的恩典與我同在。因此，不論是我，或是眾使徒，我們這樣傳，你們也這樣信了。我們既然傳基督從死人中復活了，你們中間怎麼有人說沒有死人復活呢？

因為我是耶和華你的神，是以色列的聖者，你的拯救者；我使埃及作你的贖價，使古實和示巴作你的替身。因為你在我眼中非常寶貴和貴重，所以我愛你；我使別人作你的替身，同別的民族交換你的性命。

這四個年輕人在各種文字和學問上，神都賜他們知識和聰明；但以理並且能明白一切異象和異夢。

所以，誰都不可拿人來誇耀，因為一切都是你們的。無論是保羅，是亞波羅，是磯法，是世界，是生，是死，是現在的事，是將來的事，都是你們的。你們是屬基督的，基督是屬神的。

我們知道，為了愛神的人，就是按他旨意蒙召的人的益處，萬事都一同效力。

因我的僕人雅各和我所揀選的以色列的緣故，我按著你的名呼召了你；你雖然不認識我，我卻給你這個尊貴的名號。

但以理求王，王就委派沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌管理巴比倫省的政務；但以理卻在朝中侍立。

這一切都是為了你們，好使恩惠既然因著許多人而增多，感恩的心也更加增多了，使榮耀歸給神。

如果那些日子不減少，沒有一個人可以存活；但是為了選民，那些日子必會減少。

如果不是主減少那些日子，沒有一個人可以存活；但是為了自己的選民，他必使那些日子減少。
