此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

非我較天下人有智、惟上帝以此秘奧示我、遣我以兆告王、使王追憶前事、

此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

Now the mystery has been explained to me. But it isn’t because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive. It’s because God wants you to know what the mystery means, Your Majesty. He wants you to understand what went through your mind.

But as for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because of any wisdom that I have more than all the living, but in order that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your mind.

And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

約瑟回答說：「我自己不會解夢，但上帝卻能給王圓滿的解釋。」

彼得看見這情形，就對大家說：「以色列人啊，何必驚奇呢？為什麼一直盯著我們呢？你們以為我們是憑自己的能力和虔誠叫這人行走嗎？

然後，他回到居所將這事告訴同伴哈拿尼雅、米沙利和亞撒利雅，要同伴祈求天上的上帝施憐憫，顯明這奧秘，以免他們和其他巴比倫的智者一起被殺。

看啊，那位造山又造風，向人顯明祂的心意，將黎明變為黑暗，將群山踩在腳下的——祂的名字是萬軍之上帝耶和華。

到最後，竟也向我這好像未按產期出生的人顯現。在眾使徒中我最微不足道，根本不配稱為使徒，因為我曾迫害上帝的教會。但靠著上帝的恩典，我成了今天的我，祂賜給我的恩典沒有枉費。我比其他人更加賣力，不過我不是靠自己，而是上帝的恩典與我同在。不論是我傳的還是其他使徒傳的，我們怎樣傳，你們也怎樣相信了。既然我們一直都在傳揚基督已經從死裡復活，怎麼你們當中卻有些人否定死人復活的事呢？

因為我是你的上帝耶和華，是以色列的聖者，是你的救主。我用埃及作你的贖價，使古實和西巴代替你。我珍視你，看重你，深愛你，所以我用他人代替你，用列邦交換你的生命。

上帝使這四個青年精通各樣學問和知識。但以理能明白各種異象和夢兆。

因此，誰都不要仗著人誇耀，因為萬物都屬於你們，無論是保羅、亞波羅、彼得、世界、生命、死亡、現在的事或將來的事都屬於你們，你們屬於基督，基督屬於上帝。

我們知道，上帝使萬事互相效力，使那些愛上帝，就是上帝按自己的旨意呼召的人得益處。

雖然你不認識我，但為了我的僕人雅各，我所揀選的以色列，我還是點名呼召你，賜給你一個尊貴的名號。

王又應允但以理的請求，派沙得拉、米煞和亞伯尼歌負責巴比倫省的事務。但以理仍在朝中供職。

其實一切都是為了你們，好叫恩典臨到更多的人，有更多人向上帝感恩，使上帝得榮耀。

如果不縮短那段時期，恐怕沒有一人能活命。但上帝必為祂選民的緣故，而縮短那災期。

如果主不縮短災期，恐怕沒有人能活命，但為了祂所揀選的子民，祂已經縮短災期。
