The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?”

王问称为伯提沙撒的但以理说：“你能将我所做的梦和梦的讲解告诉我吗？”

王就问又名伯提沙撒的但以理：“你能将我做的梦和梦的意思告诉我吗？”

王问称为伯提沙撒的但以理说：“你能向我说明我所见的梦和梦的意思吗？”

王问那称为伯提沙撒的但以理，说：“难道你能把我做的梦和梦的释义显明给我吗？”

王問稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「你能將我所做的夢和夢的講解告訴我嗎？」

王對那稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「你能將我所做的夢和夢的解釋告訴我嗎？」

王對那稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「你能將我所做的夢和夢的解釋告訴我嗎？」

王就問又名伯提沙撒的但以理：「你能將我做的夢和夢的意思告訴我嗎？」

王問稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：“你能向我說明我所見的夢和夢的意思嗎？”

王應聲問但以理、但以理又名叫伯提沙撒；王問他說：『你能將我所作的夢和夢的解析告訴我麼？』

王問那稱為伯提沙撒的但以理說：「難道你能把我做的夢和夢的釋義顯明給我嗎？」

王謂稱伯提沙撒之但以理曰、我所得之夢與其解、爾能告我乎、

但以理又名伯底沙撒王問曰、我夢與兆、爾能詳述乎。

王問稱伯提沙撒之但以理曰、我所作之夢、與其兆、爾能示我乎、

The king asked Daniel( also called Belteshazzar),“ Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it?”

Nebuchadnezzar spoke to Daniel, who was also called Belteshazzar. The king asked him,“ Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream? And can you tell me what it means?”

The king declared to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream that I have seen and its interpretation?”

The king said to Daniel( also known as Belteshazzar),“ Is this true? Can you tell me what my dream was and what it means?”

The king said in reply to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to tell me the dream I had and its interpretation?”

The king said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen and its interpretation?”

The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

The king said in reply to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to tell me the dream I had and its interpretation?”

The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name[ was] Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

The king then asked Daniel( whose name was also Belteshazzar),“ Are you able to make known to me the dream that I saw, as well as its interpretation?”

The king answered Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,“ Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?”

To them the chief of the eunuchs gave names: he gave Daniel the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abed-Nego.

Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.”

But at last Daniel came before me( his name is Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god; in him is the Spirit of the Holy God), and I told the dream before him, saying:

And I have heard of you, that you can give interpretations and explain enigmas. Now if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around your neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

And Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.”

And Saul said to David,“ You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.”

And the king said to them,“ I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.”Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic,“ O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will give the interpretation.”The king answered and said to the Chaldeans,“ My decision is firm: if you do not make known the dream to me, and its interpretation, you shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made an ash heap.However, if you tell the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive from me gifts, rewards, and great honor. Therefore tell me the dream and its interpretation.”They answered again and said,“ Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will give its interpretation.”

“ This dream I, King Nebuchadnezzar, have seen. Now you, Belteshazzar, declare its interpretation, since all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation; but you are able, for the Spirit of the Holy God is in you.”Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for a time, and his thoughts troubled him. So the king spoke, and said,“ Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its interpretation trouble you.” Belteshazzar answered and said,“ My Lord, may the dream concern those who hate you, and its interpretation concern your enemies!
