So Arioch took Daniel to the king at once. Arioch said,“ I have found a man among those you brought here from Judah. He can tell you what your dream means.”

亞畧亟使但以理見王、奏曰、我得猶大俘囚之中一人、能以夢兆告王、

Arioch took Daniel to the king at once and said,“ I have found a man among the exiles from Judah who can tell the king what his dream means.”

Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste and said thus to him:“ I have found among the exiles from Judah a man who will make known to the king the interpretation.”

Arioch quickly took Daniel to the king and said,“ I have found one of the captives from Judah who will tell the king the meaning of his dream!”

Then Arioch quickly brought Daniel before the king and said to him,“ I have found a man among the Judean exiles who can let the king know the interpretation.”

Then Arioch hurriedly brought Daniel into the king’s presence and spoke to him as follows:“ I have found a man among the exiles from Judah who can make the interpretation known to the king!”

Then Arioch quickly brought Daniel before the king, and said thus to him,“ I have found a man of the captives of Judah, who will make known to the king the interpretation.”

Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the children of the captivity of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation.

Then Arioch quickly brought Daniel before the king and said to him,“ I have found a man among the Judean exiles who can let the king know the interpretation.”

So Arioch quickly ushered Daniel into the king’s presence, saying to him,“ I have found a man from the captives of Judah who can make known the interpretation to the king.”

Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said this to him:“ I have found a man of the children of the captivity of Judah who will make known to the king the interpretation.”

Some of the men chosen were from Judah. Their names were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.

Then they spoke to the king again. They said,“ Daniel is one of the prisoners from Judah. He doesn’t pay any attention to you, Your Majesty. He doesn’t obey the order you put in writing. He still prays to his God three times a day.”

So Daniel was brought to the king. The king said to him,“ Are you Daniel? Are you one of the prisoners my father the king brought here from Judah?

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.God chose the things of this world that are common and looked down on. God chose things considered unimportant to do away with things considered important.

No matter what you do, work at it with all your might. Remember, you are going to the place of the dead. And there isn’t any work or planning or knowledge or wisdom there.

Save those who are being led away to death. Hold back those who are about to be killed.

Nebuchadnezzar had taken many Jews away from the land of Judah. He had forced them to go to Babylon as prisoners. Now they returned to Jerusalem and Judah. All of them went back to their own towns. Nebuchadnezzar was king of Babylon.
