Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good. (niv)

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. (niv)

May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. (niv)

So I said,“ Wisdom is better than strength.” But the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are no longer heeded. (niv)
