God furthermore said to Moses,“ This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:‘ The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is the name for all generations to use to call upon Me.

so that they might request compassion from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his friends would not be killed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

As for you, O king, while on your bed your thoughts turned to what would take place in the future; and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will take place.But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me for any wisdom residing in me more than in any other living person, but for the purpose of making the interpretation known to the king, and that you may understand the thoughts of your mind.

Certainly the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret plan To His servants the prophets.

The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.

And as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and intelligence in every kind of literature and expertise; Daniel even understood all kinds of visions and dreams.

Daniel said,“ May the name of God be blessed forever and ever, For wisdom and power belong to Him.It is He who changes the times and the periods; He removes kings and appoints kings; He gives wisdom to wise men, And knowledge to people of understanding.

Offer God a sacrifice of thanksgiving And pay your vows to the Most High;

Then you will say on that day,“ I will give thanks to You, Lord; For although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And You comfort me.

At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for doing so was well pleasing in Your sight.

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to infants.

Wisdom strengthens a wise person more than ten rulers who are in a city.

A wise man is strong, And a person of knowledge increases power.

Then at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet approached and said,“ Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, today let it be known that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.

Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.

So they removed the stone. And Jesus raised His eyes, and said,“ Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

And one of the elders* said to me,“ Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to be able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

and he said,“ Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You.

The Lord said,“ Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond servant John,

A wise person scales the city of the mighty And brings down the stronghold in which they trust.

So David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the assembly; and David said,“ Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel our father, forever and ever.

Advice is mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power is mine.

Then Jacob said,“ God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, Lord, who said to me,‘ Return to your country and to your relatives, and I will make you prosper,’I am unworthy of all the favor and of all the faithfulness, which You have shown to Your servant; for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two companies.Save me, please, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, that he will come and attack me and the mothers with the children.

Bless the Lord, my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.Bless the Lord, my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits;Who pardons all your guilt, Who heals all your diseases;Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion;

Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.

No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us,

So I said,“ Wisdom is better than strength.” But the wisdom of the poor man is despised, and his words are ignored.
