I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.”

To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you, for you have made known to us the king’s matter.”

又曰、亦告以色列族曰、遣我就爾者為耶和華、乃爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、耶和華乃我恆久之名、歷世為誌、

請其為此秘奧、求天上上帝矜憫、免但以理及其同儕、與其餘之巴比倫哲士偕亡、

王在牀時、思未來之事、今顯示秘奧者、以必有之事示爾、此秘奧顯示於我、非因我有智慧、逾於眾生、乃以夢兆告王、俾知心之所思、

主耶和華若不以秘密、先示其僕諸先知、則無所行、

耶和華與畏己者相親、必示以其約兮、

此四少者、上帝賜以知識聰睿、精於文字學術、但以理洞悉諸啟示及夢兆、

曰、智慧能力悉屬上帝、願其名受頌美、永世靡暨、彼變更時日、廢立君王、以智賜哲士、以識賜達人、

其以感謝為祭、獻於上帝、向至高者償爾願兮、

是日也、爾將曰、耶和華歟、我稱謝爾、昔爾怒我、今怒已息、且慰藉我、

是時也、耶穌感於聖神而喜曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此事於智者達者則隱之、於赤子則顯之、父乎、然也、此乃爾所悅者也、

耶穌又曰、父乎、天地主也、我讚爾、以此事、於智者達者則隱之、於赤子則顯之、

智慧使哲人有能、愈於邑中十有司、

哲人有力、智者增權、

獻素祭時、先知以利亞前曰、亞伯拉罕以撒以色列之上帝、耶和華歟、願爾今日顯示、爾在以色列中為上帝、我為爾僕、凡我所為、悉遵爾命、

我上帝歟、我稱謝爾、頌爾榮名、

眾遂去石、耶穌仰目曰、父歟、爾既聽我、我謝爾、

長老之一遂謂我曰、勿哭、猶大支之獅、大衛之根、已獲勝、以啟此卷、及其七印、

曰、我列祖之上帝耶和華歟、爾非天上上帝乎、爾非治萬民諸國乎、爾手有能有力、無人能禦爾也、

耶和華曰、我之所為、豈隱於亞伯拉罕乎、

耶穌基督之啟示、乃上帝所賜以示其諸僕、即必速成之事也、且遣厥使、曉諭其僕約翰、

智者登勇士之城、敗其所恃之勢、

大衛在會眾前、稱頌耶和華曰、我祖以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾宜稱頌、永世靡暨、

我有良謀真智、我乃明哲、我具能力、

遂禱曰、吾祖亞伯拉罕之上帝、吾父以撒之上帝耶和華歟、昔爾命我回故土、返戚屬、許待以善、爾所施於僕之恩寵誠實、即至微者、亦不堪受、昔我惟執一杖、濟此約但、今我已成二隊、求爾拯我、脫於吾兄以掃之手、蓋我懼之、恐其來擊我、爰及母子、

我心當頌美耶和華、我衷所有、頌其聖名兮、我心當頌美耶和華、勿忘其恩澤兮、彼宥爾諸愆、醫爾諸疾兮、贖爾命於死亡、冠爾以仁愛慈惠兮、

智慧愈於戰具、僅一罪人、能敗諸善、

今而後我不謂爾為僕、蓋僕不知其主所行、乃謂爾為友、以所聞於父者、悉已示爾、

願我上帝耶和華偕我儕、如偕我列祖然、勿我離、勿我棄、

我則曰、智愈於力、然貧者之智、為人蔑視、言不見聽、
