Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? and before, that we may say,‘ He is right?’ Surely, there is no one who declares. Surely, there is no one who shows. Surely, there is no one who hears your words.

Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it to his brothers, and they hated him all the more.He said to them,“ Please hear this dream which I have dreamed:for behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and behold, your sheaves came around, and bowed down to my sheaf.”His brothers asked him,“ Will you indeed reign over us? Will you indeed have dominion over us?” They hated him all the more for his dreams and for his words.He dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brothers, and said,“ Behold, I have dreamed yet another dream: and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars bowed down to me.”

“ Let them announce and declare to us what will happen! Declare the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or show us things to come.

The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.
