Now give me wisdom and knowledge, so that I may go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this great people of Yours?”Then God said to Solomon,“ Because this was in your heart, and you did not ask for riches, wealth, or honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor did you even ask for long life, but you asked for yourself wisdom and knowledge so that you may rule My people over whom I have made you king,wisdom and knowledge have been granted to you. I will also give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings who were before you has possessed, nor will those who will come after you.”

and you will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the animals of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.’

‘ I have made the earth, mankind, and the animals which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.And now I have handed all these lands over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I have also given him the animals of the field to serve him.All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will make him their servant.

He raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the garbage heap,To seat them with noblemen, With the noblemen of His people.

But as for me, I trust in You, Lord, I say,“ You are my God.”My times are in Your hand; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.

He breaks in pieces the mighty without investigation, And sets others in their place.Therefore He knows their deeds, And He overthrows them in the night, And they are crushed.He strikes them like the wicked In a public place,Because they turned aside from following Him, And had no regard for any of His ways,So that they caused the cry of the poor to come to Him, And that He would hear the cry of the afflicted—When He keeps quiet, who can condemn? And when He hides His face, who then can look at Him, That is, regarding both nation and a person?—

Now God gave Solomon wisdom and very great discernment and breadth of mind, like the sand that is on the seashore.

And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people who are too many to be numbered or counted.So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil. For who is capable of judging this great people of Yours?”Now it was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.And God said to him,“ Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself a long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the lives of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice,behold, I have done according to your words. Behold, I have given you a wise and discerning heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, nor shall one like you arise after you.

The Lord makes poor and rich; He humbles, He also exalts.He raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the garbage heap To seat them with nobles, And He gives them a seat of honor as an inheritance; For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, And He set the world on them.

And all the earth was seeking the attention of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

When all Israel heard about the judgment which the king had handed down, they feared the king, because they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.

By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice.By me princes rule, and nobles, All who judge rightly.

He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts.He has brought down rulers from their thrones, And has exalted those who were humble.

with all of his reign, his power, and the circumstances which came upon him, Israel, and all the kingdoms of the lands.

Only the Lord give you discretion and understanding, and put you in charge of Israel, so that you may keep the Law of the Lord your God.

And after some years they will form an alliance, and the daughter of the king of the South will come to the king of the North to reach an agreement. But she will not keep her position of power, nor will he remain with his power, but she will be given up, along with those who brought her in and the one who fathered her as well as he who supported her in those times.

for I will provide you eloquence and wisdom which none of your adversaries will be able to oppose or refute.

And I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

And behold, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are skillful I have put skill, so that they may make everything that I have commanded you:

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written:“ KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.

But it is due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

Then the king said to the wise men who understood the times— for it was the custom of the king to speak this way before all who knew Persian law and justice

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven—A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up.A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance.A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away.A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak.A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.

For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
