He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

He asked them to pray that the God of heaven would give him mercy. He wanted God to help him understand the mystery of the king’s dream. Then he and his friends wouldn’t be killed along with Babylon’s other wise men.

将军的主人亚述王派他来辱骂永生的神，或许耶和华你的神听见了他的话，就会斥责所听见的那些话。因此，求你为幸存的余剩之民献上祷告。’”

但是主站在我身边，使我刚强，为要藉着我使传道得以完成，让所有外邦人都能听见；我也从狮子口里被救了出来。主将会救我脱离一切凶恶之事，并且救我进入他属天的国度。愿荣耀归于他，直到永永远远！阿们。

以斯帖回复末迪凯，说：“你当去，把所有在苏萨中的犹太人都聚集起来，为我禁食，三天三夜不吃不喝；我和我的使女们也会如此禁食。然后我就去见王，虽然这样不符合法令；我如果因此灭亡，就灭亡吧！”于是末迪凯就出去，照着以斯帖所吩咐他的一切去做。

你们怎么看以下的事？如果一个人有一百只羊，其中一只迷失了，难道他不把九十九只留在山上，去寻找那一只迷失的吗？

那么，主就知道怎样拯救敬神的人脱离试炼，却把不义的人留在惩罚之下，直到审判的日子，

希律抓了彼得，把他关进监狱，交给四班士兵看守，每班四个人，打算在逾越节以后把他提到民众面前审判。

他们听了，就同心合意地高声向神说：“主啊，你是造了天、地、海和其中万有的那一位。你曾经藉着圣灵，用你的仆人——我们先祖大卫的口说：‘列国为什么狂怒骚乱，众民为什么图谋虚空？地上的众君王都起来，首领们也聚集在一起，抵挡主和他的基督。’“事实上，希律和本丢彼拉多，与外邦人和以色列子民果然在这城里一同聚集，对付你所膏立的圣仆耶稣，做成了你手和你计划所预定要成就的一切事。主啊，现在求你鉴察他们的威吓，使你的奴仆们能满有胆量地传讲你的话语。求你伸出你的手，藉着你圣仆耶稣的名，使疾病痊愈，施行神迹和奇事。”他们祷告完了，聚集的地方就被震动，大家都被圣灵充满，就坦然无惧地传讲神的话语。

弟兄们，藉着我们的主耶稣基督、藉着圣灵的爱，我恳求你们与我一同竭力为我向神祷告：

你要全心依靠耶和华，不要依赖自己的悟性；在你一切的道路上，都要认定他，他就会修直你的路。

如果真被扔进火窑中，我们所事奉的神也能从烈火燃烧的窑中拯救我们；王啊，他必从你的手中拯救我们！
