He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

He asked them to pray that the God of heaven would give him mercy. He wanted God to help him understand the mystery of the king’s dream. Then he and his friends wouldn’t be killed along with Babylon’s other wise men.

大卫又说：“那曾救我脱离狮爪和熊掌的耶和华，也必救我脱离这非利士人的手。”于是扫罗对大卫说：“你去吧！愿耶和华与你同在。”

那时，你们就要再看出义人与恶人、事奉神的人和不事奉他的人之间有什么分别。”

也许耶和华你的神听见拉伯沙基的话，就是他的主人亚述王派他来辱骂永活的神的话；耶和华你的神会因他所听见的话斥责他；因此，求你为余剩下来的人献上祷告。’”

然而主站在我旁边，加给我力量，使福音的信息藉着我尽都传开，万国的人都可以听见；他并且把我从狮子口中救出来。主必救我脱离一切邪恶的事，也必救我进入他天上的国。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。

以斯帖吩咐人回覆末底改说：“你要去，把书珊城所有的犹大人都召集起来，为我禁食三天，就是三日三夜不吃不喝；我和我的婢女也要这样禁食。然后我就违例进去见王；我若是死，就死吧。”于是末底改离开了，照着以斯帖吩咐的一切去行。

你们认为怎样？有一个人，他有一百只羊，如果失了一只，他会不把九十九只留在山上，去寻找那迷失的吗？

主知道怎样搭救敬虔的人脱离试探，又把不义的人留下来，等候在审判的日子受刑罚，

捉到了，就把他关在监里，交给四班士兵看守，每班四个人，打算过了逾越节，把他提出来交给民众。

他们听了，就同心向神高声说：“主啊，你是那创造天地、海洋和其中万物的主宰。你曾以圣灵藉着你仆人我们祖先大卫的口说：‘列国为什么骚动？万民为什么空谋妄想？地上的君王都起来，首领聚在一起，敌对主和他的受膏者。’希律和本丢．彼拉多，外族人和以色列民，真的在这城里聚集，反对你所膏立的圣仆耶稣，行了你手和你旨意所预定要成就的一切。主啊，他们恐吓我们，现在求你鉴察，也赐你仆人们大有胆量，传讲你的道。求你伸手医治，藉着你圣仆耶稣的名，大行神迹奇事。”他们祷告完了，聚会的地方震动起来，他们都被圣灵充满，放胆传讲神的道。

弟兄们，我靠着我们的主耶稣基督，凭着圣灵的慈爱，劝你们和我一同竭力为我向神祈祷，

你要一心仰赖耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明；在你一切所行的路上，都要承认他，他必使你的路径平坦正直。

如果我们被扔在火窑里，我们所事奉的神必能拯救我们；王啊！他必拯救我们脱离烈火的窑和你的手。（本节或译：“如果我们所事奉的神能拯救我们，王啊！他必拯救我们脱离烈火的窑和你的手。”）
