He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

He asked them to pray that the God of heaven would give him mercy. He wanted God to help him understand the mystery of the king’s dream. Then he and his friends wouldn’t be killed along with Babylon’s other wise men.

『你呼求我，我就回應你，並且把你不知道的偉大、奧妙之事告訴你。

「我又告訴你們，如果你們當中有兩個人在地上同心合意地祈求，不論求什麼，我天上的父必為你們成就。

在患難中呼求我，我必拯救你，你必尊崇我。」

他求告我，我就答應他；他遭遇患難，我必與他同在。我必拯救他，賜他尊貴的地位。

倘若只有四十五個義人，你會因為少了五個義人而毀滅全城嗎？」耶和華說：「倘若我在城裡找到四十五個義人，我也不會毀滅那城。」

耶和華曾經從獅子和熊的利爪下拯救我，祂也必從非利士人手中拯救我。」掃羅對大衛說：「去吧，願耶和華與你同在。」

那時，你們將再度看出義人與惡人之間的區別，事奉上帝者和不事奉上帝者之間的不同。

亞述王派他的元帥來辱罵永活的上帝，也許你的上帝耶和華聽見那些話，就懲罰他。請你為我們這些剩下的人禱告。』」

然而主站在我身旁加給我力量，使我可以把福音清楚地傳給外族人。主把我從獅子口裡救了出來。主必救我脫離一切兇險，帶我進入祂的天國。願榮耀歸給上帝，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

以斯帖派人回覆末底改說：「你去召集書珊城所有的猶太人為我禁食，三天三夜不吃不喝，我和我的宮女也要這樣禁食。然後，我要違例去見王，我若死就死吧。」於是，末底改便去照以斯帖的一切吩咐行事。

如果一個人有一百隻羊，其中有一隻走迷了路，他會怎麼辦呢？難道不會把那九十九隻撇在山上，去找那隻迷失的羊嗎？

上帝知道怎樣拯救敬虔的人脫離試煉，把不義的人拘禁在刑罰之下，等候審判的日子，

把他關在監裡，由四班衛兵，每班四人輪流看守，想等逾越節過後當眾懲辦他。

大家聽後，一同高聲向上帝禱告說：「主啊，你創造了天地、海洋和其中的萬物。你藉著聖靈感動你的僕人——我們的祖先大衛說，『列國為何咆哮？萬民為何枉費心機？世上的君王一同行動，官長聚集起來，要抵擋主和祂所膏立的王。』「果然如此，希律和本丟·彼拉多、外族人和以色列聚集在這城裡，要對抗你膏立的聖子耶穌，然而他們所做的只不過是你憑自己的能力和旨意所預定的。主啊，你看他們這樣恐嚇我們，求你幫助你的奴僕們坦然無懼地傳你的道。求你伸出手醫治疾病，藉著你聖子耶穌的名行神蹟奇事。」禱告完後，聚會的地方震動起來，他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳揚上帝的道。

弟兄姊妹，我藉著我們主耶穌基督和聖靈所賜的愛心，懇求你們與我一同竭力禱告，為我祈求上帝，

你要全心信靠耶和華，不可倚靠自己的悟性。凡事都要尋求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

王啊，我們若真被扔進烈焰熊熊的火窯，我們所事奉的上帝必能救我們脫離火窯，祂必從你手中救我們。
