He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

He asked them to pray that the God of heaven would give him mercy. He wanted God to help him understand the mystery of the king’s dream. Then he and his friends wouldn’t be killed along with Babylon’s other wise men.

‘你呼求我，我就回应你，并且把你不知道的伟大、奥妙之事告诉你。

在患难中呼求我，我必拯救你，你必尊崇我。”

倘若只有四十五个义人，你会因为少了五个义人而毁灭全城吗？”耶和华说：“倘若我在城里找到四十五个义人，我也不会毁灭那城。”

耶和华曾经从狮子和熊的利爪下拯救我，祂也必从非利士人手中拯救我。”扫罗对大卫说：“去吧，愿耶和华与你同在。”

那时，你们将再度看出义人与恶人之间的区别，事奉上帝者和不事奉上帝者之间的不同。

亚述王派他的元帅来辱骂永活的上帝，也许你的上帝耶和华听见那些话，就惩罚他。请你为我们这些剩下的人祷告。’”

然而主站在我身旁加给我力量，使我可以把福音清楚地传给外族人。主把我从狮子口里救了出来。主必救我脱离一切凶险，带我进入祂的天国。愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！

以斯帖派人回复末底改说：“你去召集书珊城所有的犹太人为我禁食，三天三夜不吃不喝，我和我的宫女也要这样禁食。然后，我要违例去见王，我若死就死吧。”于是，末底改便去照以斯帖的一切吩咐行事。

如果一个人有一百只羊，其中有一只走迷了路，他会怎么办呢？难道不会把那九十九只撇在山上，去找那只迷失的羊吗？

上帝知道怎样拯救敬虔的人脱离试炼，把不义的人拘禁在刑罚之下，等候审判的日子，

把他关在监里，由四班卫兵，每班四人轮流看守，想等逾越节过后当众惩办他。

大家听后，一同高声向上帝祷告说：“主啊，你创造了天地、海洋和其中的万物。你借着圣灵感动你的仆人——我们的祖先大卫说，“‘列国为何咆哮？万民为何枉费心机？世上的君王一同行动，官长聚集起来，要抵挡主和祂所膏立的王。’“果然如此，希律和本丢·彼拉多、外族人和以色列人都聚集在这城里，要对抗你膏立的圣子耶稣，然而他们所做的只不过是你凭自己的能力和旨意所预定的。主啊，你看他们这样恐吓我们，求你帮助你的奴仆们坦然无惧地传你的道。求你伸出手医治疾病，借着你圣子耶稣的名行神迹奇事。”祷告完后，聚会的地方震动起来，他们都被圣灵充满，放胆传扬上帝的道。

弟兄姊妹，我借着我们主耶稣基督和圣灵所赐的爱心，恳求你们与我一同竭力祷告，为我祈求上帝，

你要全心信靠耶和华，不可倚靠自己的悟性。凡事都要寻求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

王啊，我们若真被扔进烈焰熊熊的火窑，我们所事奉的上帝必能救我们脱离火窑，祂必从你手中救我们。
