I know a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. He has understanding and wisdom and good sense just like the gods. In the beginning, the Word was already there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was with God in the beginning.All things were made through him. Nothing that has been made was made without him.

Here I am. Here are the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and reminders to Israel from the Lord who rules over all. He lives on Mount Zion.

Jesus looked at them and said,“ With people, this is impossible. But with God, all things are possible.”

Who is like the Lord our God? He sits on his throne in heaven.He bends down to look at the heavens and the earth.

So the magicians said to Pharaoh,“ God’s powerful finger has done this.” But Pharaoh remained stubborn. He wouldn’t listen, just as the Lord had said.

I heard a loud voice from the throne. It said,“ Look! God now makes his home with the people. He will live with them. They will be his people. And God himself will be with them and be their God.

Daniel replied,“ You have asked us to explain a mystery to you. But no wise man can do that. And those who try to figure things out by using magic can’t do it either.But there is a God in heaven who can explain mysteries. King Nebuchadnezzar, he has shown you what is going to happen. Here is what you dreamed while lying in bed. And here are the visions that passed through your mind.

When he went up to his place on high, he took many prisoners. He received gifts from people, even from those who refused to obey him. The Lord God went up to live on Mount Zion.

How can the temple of the true God and the statues of other gods agree? We are the temple of the living God. God has said,“ I will live with them. I will walk among them. I will be their God. And they will be my people.”( Leviticus 26:12; Jeremiah 32:38; Ezekiel 37:27)

“ But will God really live on earth with human beings? After all, the heavens can’t hold you. In fact, even the highest heavens can’t hold you. So this temple I’ve built certainly can’t hold you!

He has said,“ This will be my resting place for ever and ever. Here I will sit on my throne, because that’s what I want.

The Lord says,“ Heaven is my throne. The earth is under my control. So how could you ever build a house for me? Where would my resting place be?Didn’t I make everything by my power? That is how all things were created,” announces the Lord.“ The people I value are not proud. They are sorry for the wrong things they have done. They have great respect for what I say.

So do not make the land where you live“ unclean,” because I live there too. I, the Lord, live among the Israelites.’ ”

“ But will you really live on earth? After all, the heavens can’t hold you. In fact, even the highest heavens can’t hold you. So this temple I’ve built certainly can’t hold you!

Egypt and Edom have spilled my people’s blood. Should I let them escape my judgment? No, I will not.” The Lord lives in Zion!
