他回答：“但以理啊！你只管去吧，因為這些話已經隱藏密封，直到末期。

他又對我說：“不要封住這書上的預言，因為時候近了。

關於所說二千三百個晚上和早晨的異象是真的，但你要把這異象封住，因為那是關於將來許多的年日的。”

他就來到我所站的地方；他來到的時候，我就害怕，臉伏在地；他對我說：“人子啊，你要明白！這異象是關於末後的時期的。”

七雷說話的時候，我正要寫下來，就聽見有聲音從天上出來，說：“七雷所說的你要封住，不可寫出來！”

到那日，聾子必聽見這書卷上的話；瞎子的眼，必在迷蒙黑暗中也能看見。困苦的必因耶和華增添喜樂；貧窮的人必因以色列的聖者而快樂。

這天國的福音要傳遍天下，向萬民作見證，然後結局才來到。

你要捲起律法書，在我的門徒中間封住訓誨。

在我整個聖山上面，這一切都不行傷害或毀滅之事；因為認識耶和華的知識要充滿大地，好像海水覆蓋海洋一般。

我又看見另一位天使在高空飛翔，有永遠的福音要傳給住在地上的人，就是各邦國、各支派、各方言、各民族的人。他大聲說：“應當敬畏神，把榮耀歸給他！因為他審判的時候到了，應當敬拜創造天、地、海和眾水泉源的那一位！”

民中的智慧人必使許多人明白是非；但他們必有很多日子倒在刀劍之下，或被火燒，或被擄去，或被搶掠。

到那日，必沒有光、寒冷和嚴霜。那將是獨特的一天，只有耶和華知道；那天不再分白晝和黑夜，因為在晚上仍有光明。到那日，必有活水從耶路撒冷流出來；一半流往東海，另一半流往西海；冬天夏天都是這樣。耶和華必作全地的王；到那日，人人都承認耶和華是獨一無二的，他的名也是獨一無二的。全地，從迦巴直到耶路撒冷南方的臨門，都要變成平原；但耶路撒冷仍必屹然聳立，從便雅憫門到第一門的地方，到角門，又從哈楠業樓到王的榨酒池，都在原處。

那時，能看見事物者的眼睛，必不再昏暗；能聽到事物者的耳朵，必然傾聽。

你應去等待結局！你必安歇；到了末日，你必起來，承受你的分。”

“到了末期，南方王要和他交戰；北方王必帶著戰車、騎兵和大批戰船，像暴風一般來到他那裡；他必侵入列國，如洪水氾濫，橫掃而過。

波斯王古列第三年，有一個信息啟示給那稱為伯提沙撒的但以理。這信息是真的，是關於一場大戰爭；但以理明白這信息，了解這異象。

但是我要說，他們沒有聽見嗎？他們的確聽見了，如經上所記：“他們的聲音傳遍全地，他們的言語傳到地極。”

耶和華包紮他子民的傷口，醫治他們傷痕的日子，月亮的光必像太陽的光；太陽的光必增加七倍，像七日的光一樣。
