他說：「但以理啊，你走吧，因為這些事要保密，要被封起來，一直到末了。

他又對我說：「不可封住這卷書上的預言，因為時候快到了。

異象中所說的兩千三百個晝夜是真的。但你要保密，不可告訴別人，因為這指的是遙遠的將來。」

於是，他朝我站的地方走來，當他走來的時候，我嚇得俯伏在地。他對我說：「人子啊，你要明白，這異象是關於末後的時期。」

我正要將雷鳴的意思記錄下來，就聽見天上有聲音說：「你要封住七聲雷鳴所說的事，別寫下來。」

那時，聾子必聽見那書卷上的話，黑暗中的瞎子必能看見。卑微的人必因耶和華而歡喜，貧窮的人必因以色列的聖者而快樂。

這天國的福音將傳遍天下，讓萬民都聽見，然後末日才會來臨。

我的門徒啊，你們要把上帝的訓誨捲起來，用印封好。

在我的整個聖山上，牠們都不傷人、不害物。認識耶和華的人必充滿天下，就像水充滿海洋一樣。

我看見另一位天使在空中飛翔，要將永遠的福音傳給地上的各國家、各部落、各語言族群、各民族。他大聲說：「當敬畏上帝，歸榮耀給祂，因為祂審判的時候到了。要敬拜造天、地、海和一切水源的那位。」

那些智者必教導許多民眾，但他們將在一段時間內被刀劍殺戮，或被燒死，或被擄去，或被搶掠。

到那天，將沒有光、嚴寒和冰霜。那將是奇特的日子，沒有晝夜之分，晚上仍然有光，只有上帝知道那日何時來臨。到那天，必有活水從耶路撒冷湧出，一半流向死海，一半流向地中海，冬夏不變。耶和華必做普世的王。到那天，必唯祂獨尊，唯祂的名獨尊。從迦巴直到耶路撒冷南邊的臨門，整個地區都要變為平原。從便雅憫門到舊門，再到角門，從哈楠業樓到王的榨酒池——耶路撒冷必仍然矗立在原處。

人們的眼睛必不再迷濛，耳朵必能聽見。

你要堅持到底。你必得到安息，到了末後的日子，你必起來承受你的產業。」

「到了末後，南方王必與北方王交戰。北方王必率領戰車、騎兵和大批戰船攻擊他，又如洪水般橫掃列國。

波斯王塞魯士執政第三年，但以理，又名伯提沙撒，得到啟示。這啟示是真實的，是關於一場大爭戰的事。但以理通過異象明白了啟示的意思。

但我要問，以色列人沒有聽過嗎？當然聽過。因爲「他們的聲音傳遍天下，他們的話語傳到地極。」

耶和華包紮他百姓的創傷，醫治祂子民的傷口時，月亮必發出太陽般的光輝，太陽的光輝必增加七倍，燦爛得好像七個太陽同時發光。
