因為我們知道，我們這地上的帳篷若拆毀了，我們將有上帝所造的居所，不是人手所造的，而是在天上永存的。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：「你若遵行我的道，謹守我的命令，就可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇；我也要使你在這些侍立的人中間來往。

那美好的仗我已經打過了，當跑的路我已經跑盡了，該信的道我已經守住了。從此以後，有公義的冠冕為我存留，就是按着公義審判的主到了那日要賜給我的；不但賜給我，也賜給凡愛慕他顯現的人。

因此，當審判的時候惡人必站立不住，罪人在義人的會眾中也是如此。

耶穌對他們說：「我實在告訴你們，你們這些跟從我的人，到了萬物更新、人子坐在他榮耀寶座上的時候，你們也要坐在十二個寶座上，審判以色列十二個支派。

也必使你們這受患難的人與我們同得平安。那時，主耶穌同他有權能的天使從天上在火焰中顯現，要報應那些不認識上帝和不聽從我們的主耶穌福音的人。

「主啊，如今可以照你的話，容你的僕人安然去世；因為我的眼睛已經看見你的救恩，

亞當的七世孫以諾曾預言這些人說：「看哪，主帶着他的千萬聖者來臨，要審判眾人，證實一切不敬虔的人所妄行一切不敬虔的事，又證實不敬虔的罪人所說頂撞他的剛愎的話。」

耶和華是我的產業，是我杯中的福分；我所得的，你為我持守。

智慧人要發光，如同天上的光；那領許多人歸於義的必發光如星，直到永永遠遠。

義人死亡，無人放在心上；虔誠的人被接去，無人理解；義人被接去，以免禍患。行為正直的人進入平安，得以在床上安歇。

你們要時時警醒，常常祈求，使你們能逃避這一切要來的事，得以站立在人子面前。」
