我们知道，如果我们在地上的帐棚拆毁了，我们必得着从神而来的居所。那不是人手所造的，而是天上永存的房屋。

“万军之耶和华这样说：‘你若遵行我的道，谨守我的吩咐，你就必治理我的家，看守我的院子，我必赐你特权，可以在这些侍立在我面前的使者中间自由出入。

那美好的仗我已经打过了，当跑的路我已经跑尽了，所持的信仰我已经守住了。从此以后，有公义的冠冕为我存留，就是按公义审判的主在那日要赏给我的；不但赏给我，也赏给所有爱慕他显现的人。

因此，在审判的时候，恶人必站立不住；在义人的团体中，罪人也必这样。

耶稣对他们说：“我实在告诉你们，到了万物更新，人子坐在他荣耀的宝座上的时候，你们这些跟从我的人，也会坐在十二个宝座上，审判以色列的十二个支派。

“主啊，现在照你的话，释放仆人平平安安地去吧！因我的眼睛已经看见你的救恩，

亚当的第七世孙以诺，也曾经预言这些人说：“看，主必同他的千万圣者降临，要审判众人，又要定所有不敬虔的人的罪，因为他们妄行各样不敬虔的事，并且说了种种刚愎的话顶撞神。”

耶和华是我的产业，是我杯中的分；我所得的业分，你亲自为我持守。

那些有智慧的必发光，好像穹苍的光体；那些使许多人归义的必发光，如同星星，直到永永远远。

义人死亡，没有人放在心上；虔诚人去世，也没有人明白；义人去世，是脱离了祸患。行事为人正直的，死后必得进入平安，在他们的坟墓里享安息。

你们要时刻警醒，常常祈求，好让你们能逃避这一切要发生的事，可以站在人子面前。”
