The one who is from God listens to God’s words. This is why you don’t listen, because you are not from God.”

and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved.For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false,so that all will be condemned— those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.

The rest of the people, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands to stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which are not able to see, hear, or walk.And they did not repent of their murders, their sorceries, their sexual immorality, or their thefts.

a wise man will listen and increase his learning, and a discerning man will obtain guidance—

Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone.For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

If anyone wants to do His will, he will understand whether the teaching is from God or if I am speaking on My own.

I will put this third through the fire; I will refine them as silver is refined and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say: They are My people, and they will say: Yahweh is our God.”

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,listening closely to wisdom and directing your heart to understanding;furthermore, if you call out to insight and lift your voice to understanding,if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God.

Those who are wise among the people will give understanding to many, yet they will die by sword and flame, and be captured and plundered for a time.

He said to them,“ How unwise and slow you are to believe in your hearts all that the prophets have spoken!

For a fool speaks foolishness and his mind plots iniquity. He lives in a godless way and speaks falsely about the Lord. He leaves the hungry empty and deprives the thirsty of drink.The scoundrel’s weapons are destructive; he hatches plots to destroy the needy with lies, even when the poor says what is right.

as it is written: God gave them a spirit of insensitivity, eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, to this day.And David says: Let their feasting become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution to them.Let their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent continually.

“ You are a king then?” Pilate asked.“ You say that I’m a king,” Jesus replied.“ I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.”

Those who are wise will shine like the bright expanse of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

Then one of the elders asked me,“ Who are these people robed in white, and where did they come from?”I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

She was given fine linen to wear, bright and pure. For the fine linen represents the righteous acts of the saints.

Let whoever is wise pay attention to these things and consider the Lord’s acts of faithful love.

The armies that were in heaven followed Him on white horses, wearing pure white linen.

“ Come, let us discuss this,” says the Lord.“ Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will be like wool.

and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, yet they did not repent of their actions.

Yet its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be left for salt.

By obedience to the truth, having purified yourselves for sincere love of the brothers, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.

For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but He does it for our benefit, so that we can share His holiness.

Therefore, dear friends, since we have such promises, let us cleanse ourselves from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, completing our sanctification in the fear of God.

Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

I advise you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire so that you may be rich, white clothes so that you may be dressed and your shameful nakedness not be exposed, and ointment to spread on your eyes so that you may see.

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

As the old proverb says,‘ Wickedness comes from wicked people.’ My hand will never be against you.

so that the genuineness of your faith— more valuable than gold, which perishes though refined by fire— may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
