After he has arisen, his empire will be broken up and parceled out toward the four winds of heaven. It will not go to his descendants, nor will it have the power he exercised, because his empire will be uprooted and given to others.

但以理说：“我在夜间的异象中看见天风四面吹来，搅动大海。

我观看这些角时，见其中长出一个小角，先前的角中有三个被连根拔出，让它取而代之。这小角有人的眼睛和说狂言的口。

当我宣布要铲除、推翻、毁灭哪一邦或哪一国的时候，

人生不过是幻影，劳碌奔波却一场空，积蓄财富却不知谁来享用。

我憎恶自己在日光之下劳碌得来的一切，因为这些必留给后人。谁知道那人是智者还是愚人呢？然而，他却要接管我在日光之下用智慧辛勤经营的产业。这也是虚空。

耶稣知道他们的心思，就说：“一个国内部自相纷争，必然灭亡；一座城、一个家内部自相纷争，必然崩溃。

我要告诉你，耶和华说，‘我必在整个大地上拆毁我所建立的，铲除我所栽培的。

但上帝对他说，‘无知的人啊，今晚就要取走你的命！你所预备的一切留给谁享用呢？’”

恶人得势不会长久，不信上帝者的快乐转瞬即逝？虽然他傲气冲天，把头挺到云端，终必如自己的粪便永远消亡，见过他的人都不知他在何处。

我见过邪恶残暴之人，乍看如葱茏的黎巴嫩香柏树，再一看，他已经消失得无影无踪，无处可寻。

“此后，我继续观看，见还有一只兽像豹，背上有四个如鸟翼般的翅膀。这兽有四个头，并被赋予权柄。

甚至抛尸、倒灰的整个山谷，以及从汲沦溪到东边马门拐角的所有田地都要归给耶和华作圣地，永不再被倾覆、毁灭。”

有一个人孤孤单单，没有儿子也没有兄弟，却终身劳碌。他虽然家道丰裕，仍不满足，从未想过“我不停地劳碌，放弃一切享受，究竟是为了谁？”这也是虚空，是一种悲哀。

他们倚靠金钱、夸耀财富，却不能救赎自己的生命，也无法向上帝付生命的赎价。因为生命的赎价高昂，无人付得起，以致可以永远活着，不进坟墓。众所周知，即使智者也要死去，愚人和庸者也要灭亡，将他们的财富留给别人。尽管他们用自己的名字来为产业命名，坟墓却是他们永远的归宿，世代的住处。人不能长享富贵，终必死去，与兽无异。

直到我进入你的圣所，才明白他们的结局。你把他们放在容易滑倒的地方，使他们落入毁灭中。他们顷刻间被毁灭，在恐怖中彻底灭亡。他们不过是人醒来后的一场梦。主啊，你一行动，他们必灰飞烟灭。
