“ The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place.

“ A certain king will do as he pleases. He will honor himself. He will put himself above every god. He will say things against the greatest God of all. Those things have never been heard before. He will have success until God is not angry anymore. What God has decided to do must take place.

“ And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

“ The king will do as he pleases, exalting himself and claiming to be greater than every god, even blaspheming the God of gods. He will succeed, but only until the time of wrath is completed. For what has been determined will surely take place.

彼惡人妄自尊崇、謂超於凡稱上帝、世所崇拜者、而敵之、入上帝殿、居上帝位、自以為上帝、

蓋爾之上帝耶和華、乃諸上帝之上帝、諸主之主、巨能可畏之上帝、不偏視人、不取賄賂、

北王任意而作、莫之能禦、亦至樂郊、以成其志、

有授獸以口才者、能述大事、出妄言、又秉權力戰、四十有二月、啟口冒稱上帝、暨厥名厥殿與在天者、

爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、

告但以理曰、爾之上帝、能以斯秘奧、宣示於爾、誠為諸上帝之上帝、諸王之主、能闡幽微、物無遁情、

為諸上帝之上帝、矜憫恆懷、爾曹當頌之兮、

惟我不久必滅亞述民、以洩我忿、

曰我以末期之災示爾、屆期必有是事、

吾見牡綿羊、以角抵觸、向西向南、又向北、惟所欲為、至於茁壯、群獸莫之能禦、得免其害、

我民宜入室闔門、暫匿其身、待患難之過、

我降自天、非行己意、乃遣我者之意、

異邦人設謀、耶和華敗之、使計不成兮。

吾感於聖神時、天使攜我適野、見一婦乘絳獸、首七角十、遍書僭號於體、

婦避蛇之害、得大鷹雙翼、高騫曠野、至其地、在彼就養、歷一載。又逾二載、又半載、

厥命不貳、誰能易之、彼從心所欲為、先定命、後降災、災祲不一、絡繹將至。

自去日所獻之祭品、置殘賊可惡之物於彼、必閱一千二百九十日、凡待至一千三百三十五日者、可蒙福祉、爾往哉、末期既屆、爾可安其故業焉。

我見十角之間、忽生小角、先生三角之根、為其所拔、小角有目、若人有口能言、惟自矜誇、

七日復乘以六十二之後、受膏之主見戮、援手無人、迄乎後日、異邦之君咸至、毀城郭、傾聖所、若為洪水所淹、戰爭不息、則殺戮不已、最後七日、主必與眾民立約、七日之間、祭祀將不復行、殘賊可惡之物、立於聖地、所定之災、必有應驗、終至荒蕪。

河濱枲衣者、舉左右手、向天指永生之主、誓曰、必歷一載、又逾二載、又半載、既散聖民、諸事咸應、

以成爾權、爾旨預定之事、

能力甚強、悉遂其欲、其戰勝也、以謀不以力、有能有德之國、俱遭其翦滅、甚屬非常、以詭譎克敵、心志驕侈、承平之際、殲滅眾民、違逆諸君之君、其敗亡也、豈由於人哉。

我自無所能、惟遵所聞者、而審判之、我審判以義、我不己意是求、乃父遣我者之意也、

斯世之億兆、藐乎其小、有如無物、天下軍旅、地下人民、上帝隨意而作、其取之、孰能禦之、其為之、孰能詰之、

諸上帝之上帝耶和華、諸上帝之上帝耶和華知之、以色列族亦將知之、如我違逆干犯耶和華、願無祐我。

自始迄終、未來之事、我一一預言、我旨必成、意必就。

殿外之院舍旃、毋庸度、爰將歸於異邦人、聖城必見蹂躪、四十有二月、我將使二證者衣綌傳道、凡一千二百有六旬、

惟於第七天使吹角日、上帝以閫奧示其僕、即先知者、必有徵驗、

首有十角、又有一角、能勝前之三角、其角有目有口、出矜詡之詞、其狀強於同類、我見斯角與聖民鬥、而角反獲捷、迨亙古不易、至上之主至、為其聖民伸冤、屆期、以國賜之、傍立者曰後出之獸、即塵世之第四國也、異於他國、吞噬蹂躪、撓亂天下、其十角即將興之十王、又有王興異於前者、將服三王、彼王自誇、違逆至上之主、困苦其聖民、欲改時易法、聖民為其所制、歷一載、又逾二載、又半載、

又有大王崛興、秉國之鈞、任意而行、

耶和華有定命、人縱多謀、亦無裨也。

妄自誇詡、違逆天軍之主、去其日獻之祭、傾其聖所、民既犯罪、眾祭司與日獻之祭品、俱為敵虜、真實之理、不許宣播、敵之所為、悉遂其欲、

蓋上帝以成厥旨之心、賜彼十王、使同心讓國與獸、迨上帝前言有徵、
